  1. pm me your full address, I can look up stock for you
  2. cost isn't as bad as one would think for that list - though it did cost a fair amount, I've done it over time, engine wise since 2006 (winter) when we started the build, and completed it in summer 2007. So, it's amortized over time, as money/time allowed. I have owned many FI cars in the past, and had never done a full NA setup, and since I utterly love my Z, I just wanted to try something new and learn in the process. Overall, out of all the cars I've owned/modded and still own, this is my favorite. I absolutely adore it! currently, lots of changes have been made from that setup Cosworth manifold Haltech with Racepak dash converted to throttle cable from drive by wire, using 75mm throttle body larger intake setup (custom, though we'll be making changes in the future) new pumpkin with Quaife LSD and custom 4.3 final drive Peak power went up a few, peak torque went up about 10 ft lbs now from before thanks to VTC mapping (which we were not previously able to do on the UTEC) As for the supercharged cars, I can easily walk away from one...literally. The s/c kits on a Z work great - HKS, Vortech, etc. Easy to fit, work great on a stock engine, reliable, and put down nice power. However, these are on stock engines, so max rpm is limited to stock redline. My car redlines currently at 8400, and makes power all the way to the end. Torque stays nearly flat to 8k where it now trails off just slightly at redline. So, while the Vortech etc car makes a higher peak number, I have nearly 2000 rpm more, per gear, of peak power available to me. Coupled with the shorter final drive gears (previously 3.9, now 4.3) and the car has that power at immediate disposal, without any "spool' time (the Vortech kit in particular tends to make its power higher in the rev range, HKS is more of a mid range setup). The car is more akin to driving a GT3 now in terms of how/where it makes it's power, than it is a Zed There are some changes we plan in the future as well to try to eek a bit more power out of her. The next step really would be a more dramatic cam, and possibly a different header, though I really want to just explore the limits of the current setup as I've very happy with the overall performance, and it's been spot on reliable now (15k miles and counting) As for the highest NA power without doing internals, the 07 + will always make more than the previous cars due simply to better overall internals, more aggressive cams, etc. Peak power on a DE (revup or non) is realistically limited to around 280 whp on a dynojet (other dynos may read differently, lot's of variables involved)
  3. Ings, Vertex - we're dealers for all of them:)
  4. I wouldn't purchase a Kinetix coffee mug if they made one
  5. the ones we carry are 1/2 inch thick I forget the thread pitch of the throttle body - but I'll see if i can find out
  6. when coupled with the wider widths used by the aftermarket (9-11 inch traditionally)
  7. http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?mode ... rodid=2075 we keep them in stock we only deal with the OEM, I don't get into any replica lights - not worth the risk to me
  8. we have the suspension bits and exhaust available, new though
  9. IMHO, black spoke wheels are were the rage a few years ago, and now look a bit tired. With a blue lip - I think that would be an acquired taste. Too much matching and the car looks more Max Power than I think it deserves. But ultimately, it's about what you like the look of
  10. there is no meaningful difference in torque between a true dual or a single with a Y pipe. It is insignificant. For practical purposes, it comes down to 3 things 1. what you are comfortable spending 2. what you like the looks of 3. what you like the sound of
  11. the Borla is also a slip fit design, 0 flanges, so it is far more complex of an install. A normal exhaust goes on the car quickly once the old one is removed. A borla takes some fiddling to get everything to line up properly
  12. thanks guys happy to help - there are tons of options available, comes down to desired budget first, and then the overall look you're going for
  13. first step you really need to do is set a budget. Things tend to fall into place rather quickly from there
  14. seems USPS was super slow during the holidays! I dropped it at the post office the 22nd - didn't leave the US till the 2nd! But, looks like it is with customs now, so should be with you any day
  15. shifters are ready to go - Martin, please pm me shipping address
  16. as of last check they were at the sort facility here in NY - from there they go to customs clearance and then out to us
  17. we have a special on the NISMO LSD kit (picture is for demo purposes, 350Z's don't have rear pumpkin cover gaskets, they just use bolts and rtv) great for a track car, and comes with everything needed for install Kit includes: Adjustable LSD (1.5 to 2 way adjustable, and adjustable lockup %) Left and right output shafts Left and right output shaft bearings/seals 10 new ring gear bolts NISMO LSD oil Normally $1375 shipped to the UK we have 3 available that we are doing for $1159 shipped
  18. thanks Stew yes please send a PM so we can price it out
  19. knobs were to be sent yesterday (today with the time difference) to us so I expect them soon!
  20. The GReddy SE would be ideal. A backbox replacement only, that offers a bit deeper/more pronounced sound, full stainless construction img]http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y144/celimangts03/P2170106.jpg[/img]
