it's a roadster, he'll be fine, once the roof burns it's easy to get out
Thanks. I leave play in it, so it fully disengages -- too tight on the fork will wear the clutch constantly.
So no more ideas eh?
Badly adjusted can mean it's riding the clutch and can stop the master cylinder piston completing a full stroke

I can understand that because if you can't see the car in the flesh how could they sell any. It would be interesting to see when they fulfil the first orders. Obviously you can tell I am a little bit annoyed by this whole old car, new car thing.

Glad you told him Mitz as I didn't want to be the one to spoil his day.
@embrace ~ as Mitz said it is a very common mistake to make. The fitters did it on mine too when I got my Invidia. Just needs taking off, threading over & refitting.
The only down side is it will cause you some clearance issues if you don't get it swapped round.
