245 too small dude, wheel is 9.5 wide i wasnt paying attention (messing about at the back of the class again ) will you reduce your lock to lock turn if you go too wide ?

i've fitted a few short shifters to cars i've had and i havent been too impressed (not the zed though), i found that it did make the throw shorter but it also made changing gear a lot heavier - less throw - less lever, just my experience

Zummertor good write up , the rx8 worries me as it needs constant tlc and the rotary engines arent great for big miles without a rebuild, highly regarded by all the reviews though the TT does everything spot on but its just numb to drive i found (and the image isnt great, newer ones are better)
