  1. He's going to be running KW variant 3. Smaller wheels means lighter wheels as well as lighter tyres! Wheel offsets as i have heard can also effect the wheel weight. Small difference but it all adds up.. the main problem with the car will probably be the driver - jay
  2. +1 it aint worth dieing for , these people have no limits so it isnt worth trying
  3. you're scaring me now will price around after xmas, might get a deal this time of year
  4. those rota's do look sweet , esp the black centres
  5. what supension are you going to be running ? oem ? coilovers ? lowered this will alter the stress sent to the wheels/tyres i'm not sure about smaller wheels (not much experience on this) but would smaller wheels mean bigger tyres so more flex/give on the side walls ? kev will probably know

    What rims

I know lol, dont know what Im doing, please stop me from opening my wallet, cant resist temptation "put the wallet down and move away slowly with your hands in the air" lol, I spoke to a few guys and they say with spacers on the wheels and stuff you get uneaven wear or something like that or it can cause damage on the axles, not sure if this is bull or not if you go with wide spacers yes that will happen as it put extra stress on the axle, drive and bearings but adaptors are usually the minimum size necessary to adapt them hub.......anyhoo they are not track wheels (seen your other thread now )

    What rims

I thought they might be gt-s volk but thats what I have and they definatly arnt them I FOUND THEM They are the Lenso KR5 little britain - yeah i know ! problem is, is that everywhere I called up they say they wont fit a 350z dont they make hub adaptors ? but that would mean uneven tyre wear no good for the track i dont understand mate, why would that mean uneven tyre wear ? i know lots of people who fit porsche wheels using adaptors to their vw's and have no issues

  15. yup and the rule was 1 pic per member not 1 pic per member and another pic of another members car you should nominate for them or 1 pic per member plus another pic which does need to be voted on and go straight in the calendar to me this seems a tad unfair on the members who bothered to wash, clean their car, go out in the cold take pics and post them up what is the point in voting if individuals can nominate a pic at the 11 th hour ? imo one of the best uk zeds is baptists and i would have put his car in there if we were putting pics of other peoples cars in i know this might sound like i'm moaning etc but it just doesnt seem fair on everyone else to me
  16. +1 so it would be fair to include adam and not bigphils and kevs (envy) cars ? And what about that US guys red zed? People wanted his in but I thought the concensus was that it was uk members only? +1

    R1 Turbo

the k2/k3 are good bikes, no real problems, the k1 750's had some dodgy gearboxes, i've rode a few and it feels as though the chain slips (even though it doesnt) this was rectified on the later k2/k3 models, the k4 was a smaller bike and a model change i've rode a few dukes which handle like they are on rails but i dont like the v twin power delivery, much prefer the scream of an in line four, i prefer the 750 to the thou as its more rewarding to ride and there isnt much in the power difference in the real world, i went from 20mph to 140mph on a k3 gsxr750 with a power commander and an end can with a k5 1000 with a racefit can and i can honestly say there next to nothing in it, it suprised me i thought the k5 would disappear just the usual stuff to look out for, chain, sprockets, and listen for cam chain rattle, the tensioner can sometime go but its very rare overall - service em and ride em
