  1. martin spent quite while cleaning the wheels up when he got them, flatting the rims and polishing them never use wheel cleaner as this will stain the lips (they're either too acid or alkaline) dont use a sponge to clean as this will scratch, use a wash mitt i use an ab lance with super snow foam this allows the cleaner to dwell without touching the wheels dont allow dirt to sit for too long as this will stain a good wheel wax helps with the cleaning

  13. you could strip back the lacquer and use a good wheel wax like poorboys mine aren't lacquered, they just take a little more maintenance nitromors is aggressive stuff, def dont use this with the tyres on the rims, nitromors will blister rubber, its applied to expand rubber for certain applications
  14. ok for me, dump your temp internet files and try again
  15. these things are normally a cheap resistor which alters the signal from the maf to the ecu, giving a false reading for either airflow or air temp 99% of the time they dont do a lot, worst case scenario, long term, they can cause the ecu to overfuel causing pinking or under fuel causing the valves to burn out
  16. "I had a friend who had a similar problem with a relay in a IPDM in a Nissan truck. Even though the relays are not listed as separate parts, they snap in and out easily. He was able to adapt an individual relay from a different IPDM. " hmm........ so the whole unit doesnt need replacing

  18. Yup. Its easy though, only 3 bolts on each side along the top of the light To remove the connectors turn them 1/4-1/2 turn and it should just come out. Assuming you used my guide, I cant see how you can get it wrong http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... indicators led's look and make the car look newer sounds like he had problems getting the cables out of the brake light chris, they are tight Yep - thought they were glued in at first - replaced now tho

  23. the plug on the light connector has a lug you have to push in to remove it, push that in with a screwdriver and pull the connector
  24. I think my arm would end up staying there if I pushed hard enough to reach it. What about removing the brakelight? is it just a very firm twist? or a bit of leverage somewhere? just pull mate, iirc you stand at the side of the quarter panel and pull towards you, there are lugs on the opposite side to the 3 bolts you have undone, theres a gasket on them that sticks a bit
  25. Rear lights off - no problem - even in the teeming rain And I can't work out how to get the Stop/Tail light out of the housing for fear of breaking something. ------------------------------- ??? what rear lights have you taken off ? the stop/tail lights are the rear lights you take off and reach down through the hole to access the indicators
