Am confused, was at a mates barbecue last night and we were sitting around table and everyone started to get onto the discussion of evolution, they asked me for my opinion and I said well to me its just a theory and im not to sure on the idea of originating from apes, I believe in creationism but everyone is entitled to their own beliefs..... the whole table went really quiet and looked at me as if i was an outcast then one of my mates girlfriend who I hadnt met before piped up and said you cant possibly be that backward, evolution is not a theory you moron its a fact do some research before you embarrass yourself some more Confused I responded saying I meant no disrespect with my views, but they are my views and I would never try and impose them on anyone else, why is it such a bad thing to not believe in evolution and just see it as a theory? She started getting really uptight shouting all sorts of scientific claims to back up why evolution is not a theory, to which I responded that its still a theory its not an absolute to all, just like creationism is not an absolute to all and we have to respect that.... she then said to her boyfriend (my mate) I cant deal with his (me) backward stupidity, he cant be that thick then demanded to be taken home? I looked at my mate he turned to me and said sorry jay I got to take her home??? (*cough* cough* under the thumb *cough* *wheeze* ahem) I told him to be careful because she might start f&$king a chimpanzee he laughed a bit and then said talk to you tomo mate and they went. I dont get it? have I missed something? Is evolution been proved 100% like the world not being flat. Surely if it hasn't then im entitled to think different? I wouldnt go around calling someone an idiot if they believe in evolution and not creationism? We are entitled to our own beliefs right?

insurance company is MORE THAN, absolute joke
-
did tell them that but then how do you prove a phone conversation. Its a joke. My sister was in similar state last year, she had her car stolen in lead container supposedly, her house insurance went up, car insurance went up, when they found the guy whos fingerprints was all over the car and who stole it, they fined him a £150 and thats it, said could not prove he stole it but the fact he knowingly owns a stolen car he gets fined just that. Im fed up, human rights??? should call it criminal rights

Not sure if you remember, my dads car got hit as we were pulling into his drive, he indicated and a corsa car with a load of kids in it hit his car, they came round the bend to fast and went up on the pavement. they admitted liability to the police and admitted it was their fault. I said to dad Id sort out the insurance for him as he hasnt got time to sort it out... so.... I called up his insurance and told them what had happened, gave them the police details and reference number and all info of the girl who hit the car. Then had to draw a diagram of what happened, piece of cake. They are getting his car fixed but said we had to pay the excess which is £1050 and also his insurance is due in 10 days and they said he loses 2 years no claims so adds on another £900. I then say but you have police records stating she claimed liability and that she was driving on the pavement at speed when she hit the car, and also the fact that she said dad had indicated but she was driving too fast to stop hence why she went up on the pavement. Why not chase her company for the money instead of charging my dad and then after work is done claim money back, he could be waiting up to 7 months before you sort this out.... They respond saying that the third party have not admitted liability and that the police cannot give them all the information regarding the event even if she had admitted liability. I then call the girl up and she said she has been meaning to call me... she said she couldnt afford her excess so she said to her insurance not to go ahead with it and that she will get her dad to fix her car. She then said she could sort out an arrangement to pay him back little by little, then she said your dad owns a Porsche surely he can afford to get it fixed rather than going down this route I then told her to choose her words very carefully.... I told her id be in touch then put the phone down. Then got back in touch with insurance company and they said because on the diagram it shows dad turning into the drive they regard this as a dangerous manoeuvre even though he indicated it could go 50/50 I said what about her driving on the pavement?!?!?!?!? they said they will look into this a bit more and get back to me.... What is the point of insurance when you have to go through this rigmarole. Seems like the victims suffer and the criminals get away with murder. If this does not go our way I will be taking matters into my own hands dont worry about that, just cant believe this

if Gordon stays pm then i will have to move, no way will i be able to operate in this country under another 5 years of Labour, working in favour of people who rely on hand outs
-
Depends. If Conservative win enough seats (doubtful) then later today. If it's a hung parliment then it has to be done before 25th May. just read Gordon is trying to get lib dems to team up with him, does he not get the message, tories are winning in votes and in seats, they should be rightfully elected ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i hate this country and all its red tape its all bull
-
when does who is pm get announced?
-
not surprising i know alot of hard working people vote labour and i mean no disrespect to you if you do nor would i put you in the same class as the people who im abouts to mention when i say this but a lot of social benefit thieves, chavs with 50 kids 50 different fathers, people who dont want to work and live off the dole, and many others who abuse the system will vote labour cos they get away with murder.

I tried voting BNP just so they would ship my dad off Voted Conservatives Put my vote in this morning, funny thing was there was an old gentleman there and he went up to the lady at the desk and said who do I have to vote for if I want Gordon Brown out? Who thinks its stupid that they do it by pencil paper system, surely this is easily manipulated?

like before when labour were in charge all the rich and famous left the great brain drain or something wasnt it called?

I would hate it too (in fact I would be furious), but it would a fair system. Don't know how you would classify cars, but something along the lines of insurance group + emissions/engine size + price could do. I hate the whole "he will cut this, he will cut that" talk and people being unhappy about higher taxes, etc. Would you prefer a little more tax or doing a Greece (or possibly quite a lot worse than Greece) in a year or two? chuck out all the illegals, get rid of of human rights, ban women from having kids if they or their partners cant depend 80% on themselves to finance the new family members, throw asbo's and those unwilling to work in the army frontline unpaid, they just get food and a tent, inspect properly benefit thieves, and force all pedophiles into human suicide bombs aimed at terrorist headquarters, you could fire them from planes as a human canon, save on expensive bombs just shoe lace grenades on em. That would free up some money for starters.

run him over and then when his mum knocks at your door to complain say you are terribly bored being stuck in the town house all day

PMSL They are all as bad as each other, Im voting conservative but only cos they seem the best option for me out of a bad lot, will it improve the country who knows, Labour has stuck us in a position which truly has f^£ked this country up, is it all Labours fault, no but they didnt help, what I will pin on them is this bloody human rights law that Tony Blair introduced in 1998 thanks to his troll of a wife. They cut the loopholes on tax evasion and increased the loopholes on terrorism and criminal law. They spend so much time making sure your regular joe blogs gets penalised for silly errors just to fine people with money and less time on the rapists and and Jihad activists abusing our system and getting paid compensation at the same time. You are better off being an illegal than a citizen, my mum always said dont bite the hand that feeds you, well thats what Labour has done time and time again and Im getting fed up with it all. Make pregnant unemployed teenagers take the snip, kick out any immigrant who have been here less than a year and has already committed crimes in the U.K, throw people who dont want to work in the army and start getting britain back on their feet. Its funny how Australia use to be the place they sent our top criminals to keep Britain safe, now Australia has become over the many years for many more of a safe haven to keep us safe from our messed up government, go figure

Am with you mate, we are already looking at moving our HQ to a different country as I can't see it getting any easier, then having outlets here. country is on its knees and we end up getting shafted because of it

Gordon Browns opening speech last night "If its all about style and PR then count me out... if its about the big decisions then Im your man..." Today was the launch of his new PR posters: "Don't forget to vote Labour, Mum" and "vote Labour, Gran" in childrens style crayon handwriting, hmm one of the most cheesiest PR stunt if ever I saw one... still waiting for them to launch their other poster to this collection: sorry couldnt resist
