1) tyres!!!! replaced the oe B/S RE040s with michelin PS2s......what a difference it made. On top of the improved performance, they are also 10.8kg lighter for the 4 i want to try the new pilot supersports next. 2) uprated discs, pads and brake fluid + s/s braided brake hoses 3) coilovers

Hi Ruddles, great thread! tks i'm going to order a set next week got a few questions....hope you dont mind. 1) im looking to drop 10-15mm (max) all round, will it work? do you konw what the minimum drop is the min. drop amount? 2) are you still on 16 clicks (from softest)? how does it compare to the stock ride? 3) how have you setup the rear adj/extenders with the rear strut brace and the trim around it? got pics? tks Hardy

i had this irritating squeak coming from the strut area a while back.........took the covers off and used seal/foam strips to cover all the contact points....etc went for a test drive after that...........the squeak was still there........then i realised the one of the clips in the bootlid cover (near wiper) was loose and was the cause of the noise..........

only noticed last night, that the window lock and side mirror switches are not illuminated.........is that right??? tks

so i was on my way home late saturday night...... stopped at the lights, i always look at the rear view to see what's behind me....this time there was a vw minibus. after he stopped, i turned my attention to the lights, next thing i know he bumped me......it was dark, no other cars around, i wasn't sure if the driver was just drunk/did it on pourpose/i'm sure i've heard hijack stories like this (crime is a problem in ZA)?????? so i just drove off (lights still red). what would you have done???? 3 dings in the bumper R1k (GBP80) to fix.......only if i'm hardcore like chuck norris, i would have kung fu'ed his/their a$$es.......

so took the car in this morning............and when i went back to pick her up this afternoon (all excited) only to find out............. they've ordered the wrong reflectors (old spec), they don't have the new ones in the country........have to wait for 15days to get them from japan. the mud flaps......wrong colour.........they must now go get it sprayed...... all the parts arrived like 2 weeks ago, and they failed to check it................. for the oil change.......interestingly 20w50 was used......the service manager reckons it's more suited for our local conditions........i will do some research on the matter and try and get an offical reply fron Nissan ZA. all is not bad though.......had a good chat with the new receptionist
