  1. LOL How old are you Jim?! I have 12 yrs NCB, 0 points and Admiral were £450!!!
  2. Thats what they are relying on; ignorance. Why not just get a jap specialist to do it and educate the buyer?
  3. Found out that shipping is $55 so you are looking at about £75 + a possible £8 import duty fee...
  4. Thats wot I thought... Actually, its more like 2mm on the front...
  5. They aren't motorised in the sense of an electric motor, they have a large flat spring which, when you push the button on the front lifts the flap and retracts it back in to the dash... I'm after the cubby but want to keep my flap - Pingu2 put me in touch with perfnissan and I found this: http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=4445 Which with the current $/£ exchnage rate means its quite cheap... $90 + shipping + import duty (maybe) fM
  6. Cheers Sarnie... The discs are a bit worn with maybe a 3mm ridge on the very edge and a scored slightly. Time to replace? fM
  7. I used to have an MGF a few cars back... Used to get a few waves from other F drivers and also the older B drivers... Funniest thing was being waved at by an MG Maestro driver once... I couldn't stop laughing for days!!
  8. Looked like a cool day out... May try and make the next one... BUT! I think I would be the youngest... And have the most hair... PS For Pano's you need at least 24 pictures in a full 360degrees and best done using a tripod... What a geek
  9. Hi, Thought I would keep it all in one thread... But what are peoples thoughts / impressions on the EBC Discs as an upgrade to the non-Brembo JDM spec brakes? I have oredered some Redstuff pads and thought I might buy the discs as well and fit them all at the same time... TIA, fM
  10. Someone at work, surname Wickes has W1XCY which is one of the best I have seen... I always fancied G4NJA when I was a dope fiend... Now THAT would be chav!!!
  11. Phil, Thats really competitive, I've PM'd you. Thanks, fM
  12. Hey Phil, What about the discs? fM
  13. Hey BigPhil, I tried to find your website but couldn't Does the £99 inc VAT? fM
  14. Hi, Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I need new pads... Can anyone provide a link / part number for EBC pads for the front and rear of a JDM Import non-Brembo? If I follow the links on Brakes4u I get here: http://www.brakes4u.co.uk/products.asp?cat=9938 But these aren't the same part numbers that were posted earlier (which are for a 200zx) Can anyone help? TIA, fM
  15. Well thats shut us lot up hasn't it?!
  16. http://www.boyracerguide.co.uk/ AND http://www.barryboys.co.uk/mx/ For something a bit more close to home!
  17. Sarnie, Is your avatar using a Honda aerial? fM
  18. @mini Thats great news. Push your luck with the body shop if the other guys inshoorence is stumping up... I would claim that you can see where they have blown the new paint in and that they might have to do the front bumper as well.....!!!!
  19. Nah, no taste deficiency - I still fancy you...
  20. As soon as you drive her you'll forget the Mini... Not only due to the handling but also due to the fact that it can be days or even weeks until you see another Z on the road!!! That will be a new experience for you to look forward to! Unless you were uber cool and drove an original Mini?! ENJOY!
  21. TCS Slip will light up when you are losing traction. Additionally you may be aware of a drop in engine performance as the pooter limits the power going to the rear wheels... You may also, if on a corner, experience the phenomena of viewing the hedgerow through the windscreen instead of through the side windows. I have recently seen my TCS light coming on at high speed whilst accelerating. I have put this down to the Bridgestones that need replacing on the rear coupled with rain. However, my ABS light does not come on when this happens... In fact I have never seen my ABS light come on other than when I first switch the ignition on... Mebbee a loose wire somewhere?
  22. Hi, I'm after the opposite, I have a JDM with satnav and wanna make use of the cubby hole! Pingu2, do you have the part number of the cubby hole?! Would I be able to use the sliding door that I currently have or do I need to change that? I think I read somewhere here that the door is just a lift up affair on the non-satnav dash? TIA, fM
  23. Trev - I'm getting my Caymans and my Cayennes mixed up. The Cayman = v. nice... Cayenne = hideous freak Ferrari are supposed to be making a 4x4 next, you know... Its a bit like Marmite making toothpaste...
  24. Thanks, Neil! Here's my manifesto: 1) Abolish fuel duty 2) Impose £400/year RFL on Max Powered Corsas/Fiestas/Saxos 3) Impose green tax on caravan owners as the extra gas used tugging these over the mountains in the Lake District are depositing CO2 directly in to the upper atmosphere 4) Make the outside lane a de-restricted 350z only lane... On a different note, I was wondering what would happen to my RFL if I drop my Z's engine in a tax exempt MGB? Apart from it going through the nearest hedge backwards, of course?! How much of a classic car must you use? What if I nicked the valve caps off a tax exempt classic?
  25. Do the Roadster's have additional bracing? They must do... I doubt that does... The scuttle shake would undoubtedly ruin the ride. EDIT: Just read the other thread on my350z.com...
