  1. My original post seems to have provoked a lot of discussion on the matter. I still have not decided yet to go down the line of a new 370z. Nothing to do with the road tax. More to do with the amount of money I have to put with my car to get the 370z. I really do not know if it is worth it with the mileage I do in it per annum. I could keep the 350z and buy 3 Dacia Sondero's (That is a joke by the way but it gets you thinking of what else you can get with that sort of money, especially when you add the cost of finance on top of it).
  2. Thanks for the advice everyone. Ideally I would go for a proper DAB fitted radio/dvd/even make you your breakfast jobbie but want something I can use in two cars. I will put the free windscreen mount aerial on the company hack and get a windscreen glass mount one for the Zed

    zunsport grill

How much was it? Went to my local Zunsport stockist and they said they would no longer deal with Zunsport. Good eh? Looking one for my late 350z which I know is different to the pre 2006 model.
  4. Looking at getting DAB radio in the Zed. Want something that can be also used in the company hack as well. These units have been around for a time but wanted to know if anyone has used one and what their views were. Is it acceptable or a heap of junk? Advice sought please
  5. Good job. Like the 'how to do photos'
  6. It is truly a 'wow' place to see. If anyone has a chance to visit Japan, it is a great day out. Unfortunately you cannot just walk in. There are many hurdles to go through.
  7. Having been to the Tochigi Plant a couple of years ago and seeing them being built and coming off the end of the production line, I can confirm they are well and truly 'boken in' before they leave the production building.
  8. Ba**ards! Feel for you. Used to know of a very good local body shop but he has vanished off the scene. PM me your phone number if you want to have a chat
  9. I recently bought a Z GT Edition, and being self employed I couldn't get a bank loan at a decent APR as I don't have 2yrs worth of audited accounts yet. However buying the car new, at Nissans 6.9%, coupled with £8k off the list price, made buying new only slightly more expensive to that of buying a £20k second hand car, with the extended warranty package added on, on APR of say 14%. This is a really good point. There are some good deals to be had if you are a cash buyer and can haggle a bit

Out of interest what is your budget?
  11. I would get him to take it to a local garage. Kwik Fit are the last people I would go to do any work, let alone leave them with my car keys . On a serious note, call the AA or RAC and they will hapilly recommend a good local Independant Garage to do the work. One thing I will say though that brakes are a serious point on a car. If they all did need doing and only half of them were done, where would this have left Kwik Fit legally should an accident happen where the brakes were a contributing factor ?
  12. Thanks mate, the wife already has one but there will be days when I have little stanners and his buggy and she will be at work in hers. Adding her to the insurance on mine was not an option as she knows I would be out inspecting it after every trip, so therefore refused to drive it. :-) Yep, i wouldnt let my missus near mine with a barge pole. And good point about when your looking after the kid & your missus is at work, i didnt think about that. Simple really. She leaves her car at home for you to drive and catches the bus to work . Isn't that what every caring wife should do?
  13. Sorry to hear this. Hope he makes a full receovery.
  14. Potion? You some kind of wizard? Potion? You some kind of wizard? Well the Government seem to be with the ongoing hikes in Road Tax! . They would say that Road Tax is just general taxation and has nothing to do with looking after the roads
  15. +1 on that. My car 4K..................yes 4K! Iv'e seen it and I would give you £4.5k no problem £4.5K + £11.5K = £16k That sounds better
  16. You have a knack of making people feel better . £460 is enough, let alone any more!
  17. Welcome . Keep your eye on the South West Forum for upcoming events
  18. Nissan would tell you it was a fault with the unit but it is 'out of warranty' so would cost you £2k to repair
