  1. Chewitts??? Man... every forum/car has its own slang, this will be fun You've been Tangoed
  2. Totally normal for the Zed. More noticable on the Roadster though for some reason
  3. Even though you did not buy the car from a Main Dealer, would still try and get the second key from them. Maybe they know who the previuos owner was who may still have it and the handbook. Worth asking
  4. J.D Witherspoons and 45 pints of their cheapest tipple
  5. Why do this? Do you have some 275mm tyres hanging about then?
  6. Come on now it's not that bad No seriously, make him an offer of £5000.............................because that is all it's worth
  7. Glad you have had the geometry sorted out I put those Falcons on my daughter's car and I am pleased with them. Good all round tyre. £400 seems about right for a set fitted. If you are not getting balancing and new valves included for this then go elsewhere. Try and get the supplying tyre depot to supply and fit the tyres as you will get the best deal doing it that way. Don't forget to shop about
  8. Looks clean enough car from the photo's. Go and have a look at it and see if they will drop in price. 276 BHP Engine on this one which has already been said. Go and have a look at a few before you make any choice. Remember, 'Buyer Beware!' Happy hunting
  9. Depends what you mean by refurb. There is the repair where the ding is filled and painted and there is the refurb which may involve shot blasting back to base metal, possibly lathe work, etc etc. The former should cost around £15 per weel for a good repair. Had two of my daughter's wheels done last year and cost £25 for 2 wheels. Repair still looking good
  10. Hope you get it fixed. Hey, joking aside, I wonder if Toyota's have a similar problem
  11. Let's face it, if any Car Manufacturer can keep a problem quiet they will. Only when the cost of litigation and paying out for 'damages' exceeds the cost of putting the problem right will they ever do anything
  12. My first car was a Datsun Cherry 100A and it did everything a teenager wanted and never let me down. I wonder how many other people could say that about their cars in the early 80's?
  13. Let's just hope it's not like in the song.... "Then it comes to be that the soothing light At the end of your tunnel Is just the freight train coming your way" plus points for whoever can guess song & artist without using Google, hehe Your a bit slow on this one! Have a look at previous posts!
  14. Depends on how much you know about photography. As has previously been said, go on a course if you can. You can then discuss issues with your teacher and fellow students. Make no mistake about it, Digital Photography is quite a bit different to film photography. Understand the basics and then go on from there.
  15. How can you compare the two cars as they are totally different? Both cars are great in their own right, depends want you as the driver wants
  16. If the original dealer wants the car back and will pay for the £70 charge you incured at your local garage then go with it. Would they be prepared to send a low loader and do a pick up and return service FOC on your car as you are so far away? Maybe worth asking.
  17. Where did you get if from? How much was it? I am sure other members could use this info for when their battery goes wrong
