  1. Not sure if this has been posted before but its a handy little tool for working out the cost of your journey etc. The bit i find a bit rubbish is the KM/Miles converter. Whats the point in having it as litres per km instead of km per litre........ Still quite handy though! http://www.fuel-economy.co.uk/calc.shtml
  2. Behind it on way to work this morning. Around 9am. JDM in black 05 reg i think........still had Fairlady badge and no sign of a club sticker. Couldn't hear his exhaust either........
  3. Knowing how dog handlers are with their animals at first I thought that his devastation at the loss of his dogs and what he had done would be punishment enough BUT no animal lover with half a brain would EVER leave dogs in a car for 7 hours with no food or water and not check on them - let alone in the heat. I never realised it had been for that length of time!
  4. The professionals was my fave tv show when i was a kid - i aspired even then to have a 'sports car' like bodie and doyle had!
  5. Have to change my location again now! I know you're probably still ignoring me but good to have you back sardine!
  6. i think the whole point is listing what you actually would get out of a particular phone and what you want and then making an appropriate purchase. No point having something all singing and dancing if you just want to actually make a phone call (god forbid)
  7. yeah, two drives on dry land then one to make sure it was waterproof!
  8. she threw it on herself i think! Only i never noticed as i was erm....................pi**ed
  9. He looks well excited............NOT! Poor little devil! At least he's got his mum's good looks!

    Falken 452's

I found them to be really good as well. Great tyre for the price! Mine were way less than 600 though!
  12. i have a raspberry, i would have loved an iphone but the deal i got on the blackberry in terms of minutes, unlimited texts and internet was just too good to pass up. I'm really pleased with it. Being a gadget girl and a massive ipod fan I will have another look at the iphone when my blackberry contract comes up for renewal. I'm impressed with blackberry though and not had any issues. My ex had a blackberry for business and they switched to iphone - he's begged them to let him go back to blackberry and they've let him. He's not into gadgets though and its for business use so it depends whether you want a good business tool or a great toy!
  13. mm, i remember Shire asking about this..........not a fan personally but as everyone else has said, give them a go for a while and then peel em off! I remember Zedrush's came off his car ok.
  14. i'm with the rest of the guys on this. we get so hung up over depreciation but it will happen whatever you have, its just one of those things. If you're loving the car just keep it. It doesn't look old or dated, still turns heads, is great to drive and what else would you get that good for your money? You would regret it and just transfer your depreciation to something else............no brainer really unless you're actually fed up with it or need to change for other reasons.

    Width ?

yeah i realise that, just when you said you'd have to do it with your hand I wondered what you meant. Anyway, i think he needs to get some padding on his wall!
  16. it has that thing which I refer to as 'so ugly its cute' BUT i still think it looks like you would expect a wheelchair to be stashed in the back...........

    Width ?

"Automatic" folding mirrors was standard on all JDM (import) touring models if I believe. Definitely not standard on GT UK models. An extra option I assume as my GT doesn't have them. You would have to manually fold the mirrors with your hands. Surely they still have electric mirrors though which you press the button and they fold? The only thing I would say is that the wheel arches are quite wide and folding in your mirrors may actually mean that you scrape your arches!

    Width ?

had a similar convo with Husky the other day, he didn't believe me when i said the zed was over 14 feet long. I am a handbook geek so.........the book says........... overall length 4,315mm / 169.9 inches overall width 1,815mm / 71.5 inches

    new plates

nice one! I saw one yesterday, i've seen her knocking about in various cars over the years with the reg B10NDE - started off on an MR2 and now its on a porsche 911. Only thing is - making a statment like that makes you think some gorgeous stunning blonde model is going to get out the car..............she's more like a skinny version of Pat Butcher off eastenders!
  20. Decided i wanted one after seeing and hearing one for the first time in a car park. Joined the forum several months before to do all my research. Decided to import one. Found the one that fit my requirements (with a little help from a man in japan). Had to wait the longest three months of my life for it to arrive from Japan. The day I collected it from Newcastle I was nervous as hell and had never even test driven one. It was stood there gleaming, not a mark on it, only 5k on the clock and looked brand new. Drove it around with the importer getting wipers and indicators mixed up! I felt fantastic driving it home and felt like eveyone was looking at it. Unfortunately I was going on holiday the next day and for once I never actually wanted to go!
  21. Happy birthday!
  22. We could all say the same about holding off due to the price issue - i've lost a small fortune i reckon BUT the two and a half years of driving it was worth every penny. Its also the car i've kept the longest and I still love just as much. Just leave the aircon all all the time - they're fine then! It's ok Vik meeting Beavis was way scarier than meeting you! Having said that, he didn't come round with his washing and a bottle of jack like you did on the hoon!
  23. i reckon Jayne is the one with the big stick - or even cattle prod!
