  1. and men who think that are usually the ones who get caught out!
  2. dunno really, that was my main concern with sticking anything on there. I mean if you wanted to get the halfords number plate sticky stuff off that's bad enough. I had mega strong velcro on my last car just in case I needed to swap plates - which of course I did when I sold it from my private reg to the normal one.
  3. Not really, just thinking like a man would!
  4. has anyone tried no more nails on a roll? I've got some which I've used for number plate on son's motorbike no probs but not sure if it's good enough to withstand the bumper bend. It does say it works even on brick etc and holds up to 50kg (per roll) but I have my doubts! Their blurb: UniBond No More Nails on a Roll/Strip is an ultra strong, double sided, instant grab tape for easy fast and durable mounting inside and outside. · Holds up to 50kg per roll / 2.75kg per strip (max bond strength achieved in 24 hours) · High Temperature resistance: -40°C to +120°C · Interior and exterior use · Translucent Ideal for mounting: · Hooks · Signs · Numbers · Car number plates · Pictures · Cable trunking · Bathroom accessories · Car accessories UniBond No More Nails Bonds: · Wood · Ceramic tiles · Metal · Brick · Stone · Plaster · Most plastics
  5. so if you want to have an affair or skive off work the answer is to leave your mobile at home and use a secret pay as you go one!
  6. Yep, 8 days if all goes well!!!!!! Can't wait now, longest few weeks of my life! Especially driving the Chavstra!
  7. unless you're in an import then on a very long (private) road they catch up to you at 112mph!
  8. A classified ad is a service they provide now but they obviously still have a strange issue with the wording. Just be careful what you put or just put ONO at the end or put 'phone to discuss' etc.
  9. do an ebay classified ad like I did! £15 and I got loads of emails and calls. You can have 12 pictures on it and all the usual stuff. They don't take a cut of the sale as there's no bidding. And if you put 'make me an offer' in the text it would seem you get your money back anyway like I did! Anyway, I've sold cars on ebay before doing it the traditional bidding way and have always just removed them from sale at the last minute if you get my drift!
  10. how can people with such gorgeous cars not wave! It's not like you're driving a fiesta and expecting every fiesta driver to wave - I only see a small amount of Z's every now and then on my travels to work and back so it will be interesting to see if I get any wavers rather than getting chased by boys in saxo's and clio's like before!
  11. Or they could use their brains and just go to your favourites anyway? Stop being paranoid, get your stickers up! Only if they know my password! Anyway, I like having a sticker on the car - had one on a previous car - got to do your bit for the site and all that!
  12. Must do a quick search then to see what you've been up to!
  13. You're exactly what it needs then! Get yourself in there!
  14. You lot crack me up! I bet if they shipped you into that house you'd all crap yourselves and be totally embarrassed and shy! Oh and rmmackfc - I LOVE YOU!!!!!
  15. But don't forget that people you may not want to be a part of your forum life can use the address to track you down and see what you're posting! Not that anyone's got anything to hide or anything, just saying.......... I think they look quite nice.
  16. Howden? Not too far up the road from me!
  17. I still think you're making a mistake calling it standard. It makes it sound inferior. I would just advertise it as 350z v6 then list the spec and all the positives like Brembo brakes etc.
  18. and some of the custom leather jobs that have been done look amazing and far better - unless of course you want to warm your backside up?
  19. One of you guys must be handy enough to set up a little sideline on here making them nice and cheap.
  20. I think caution is advisable when using anybody and as long as you can get info from someone else who's used them (as above) then that's a good start.
  21. they do seem to use different names as well - I think conventus is something to do with them and they advertise cars on autotrader which they don't actually have. Just be careful.
  22. oh well, it made me chuckle anyway..............I'm always the last to get these things!
  23. apols if you've seen this already but a mate of mine just sent me this: go to google click on maps click get directions type in the from box Atlanta and in the to box type Paris, France Scroll down to direction number 19 and have a laugh - but be quick they'll probably take it off soon!
