I know I'm going to look like a dumb woman saying this but........as I've never been into any sort of engine mods I don't have a clue what a lot of the modifications are or the effect they have unless you're talking about exhausts or air filters etc. Is there a glossary anywhere on the forum or would anyone like to do one?

My alarm went off 4 times last night which has never happened before. Husband works away a lot during the week but my lad was straight outside with a baseball bat as he thought he heard voices in the drive (nice to know he's good for something but was probably a funny sight out in the countryside!) Anyway - when I got to work this morning I noticed a huge daddy long legs sat on the inside of the door - could something that small have been causing the alarm to go off?

You can only fit 2 chavs in whereas you can fit a few more in a hot hatch but as mentioned you're more likely to get keyed or roof jumped on by someone that assumes you are loaded.

sorry to revive this again but some people say all that happens with this is that the annoying red light comes on and others seem to be saying that an actual limiter kicks in when you hit it. The reason I ask is that I was overtaking something in third yesterday and I was looking at the road not the dials for obvious reasons and then all of a sudden the car felt a bit jerky but was fine when I changed up a gear.
