I don't understand this at all but i've heard it before. How is a claim against someone else's insurance counted against your own? I just don't get it? Can anyone explain? I have always thought if it was someone else's fault then there's no claim from yourself against your own insurance.

you can tell its monday morning when.............the print seems to be going pale on your work, so you take the toner cartridge out and shake it like you have done regularly for the last god knows how many years, only this time you shower yourself with black toner all over your white shirt....... Oh, and i'm at the dentist straight from work............i look like a complete mess.........AND everyone is laughing at me.

right, all sorted! (for now anyway........) The indian call centre guys came up trumps again! Used remote access on my laptop and put the hub onto a different channel and its now fine. I dread phoning them but so far they've been great! Anyway, i'll see how long it remains ok........ For one minute i thought i might have to do the ironing or something instead tonight!

Best of luck with the main job - it can only be good news really that you won't have time for anything else at the mo!

well i left it off all night, unplugged everything blah blah. Its not just my laptop, i've tried it on two other wireless devices as well and neither of them can see it either. Its a BT homehub, been working fine for months then just suddenly happened. Done a google, seems to be issues with this and getting a new hub would appear to be like asking for the moon! I'm reasonably ok with technical stuff but would probably find programming the boiler and the dvd recorder a bit easier than this............. I'll try the suggestion above when i've deciphered it then its the dreaded call to India I guess...

well looks like i'll have to ring the indian call centre for a new one tomorrow.............having said that the last time I spoke to them they were bloody good! So looks like you'll all get some peace and quiet from me over the weekend........

right, gotta be the router. Just plugged a belkin wireless adapter into the pc's usb. Its doing exactly the same as the laptop - picked up other people's secure wireless network but not mine.

mmm, never had a problem before.........but yes its on all the time. I have tried resetting it but no difference but according to the lights on it there is a strong wireless signal.......... If i don't get it sorted i will actually have to go to bed at bedtime!

Even though the hub is showing that all is fine! AAAGGHHH (mind you, you will get rid of me if I can't get it working)

Having a problem with connecting to internet on my laptop. I have a BT home hub and its all fine - i can use the PC (as i am doing now) with no probs. The laptop (vista) is usually just connected automatically as soon as i switch it on. Never had a problem with the wireless connection and can get right down the garden with it etc. Now I just have no connection and my network is not listed in the options of what i can connect with. I have chatted with Stew about this on MSN and his switch it on and off advice didn't get me very far...... Any ideas?
