This has nearly killed me a few times. On a couple of occasions I have been coming to a junction and people have just pulled out on me cos my indicator is still on but I did'nt realise Only had mine a week and this has happened a couple of times already!

Just been reading through this thread and am a little confused Ive got an 05 GT4 and would like bluetooth. Am I right in saying the car is prewired with a phone kit (there's a phone thingy in the tray in the centre console, and what looks like a mic behind the rear view mirror)? If so, do I just need to order the BT kit from one of the £99 deals available on here. Also, anyone used it with a Sony Ericsson W800i, and is it OK?

I prefer white/clear indicators & reflectors to orange on most cars as a lot of people do......I was gonna get some for mine but not sure now as I think the orange ones are less noticeable against the kuro. I also think the orange look fine on sunset but your custard one would benefit from a change

Anyone know a good place where I can hire a new shape discovery for a Sunday only? Ive found a few and they all seem to do weekend hire (i.e. Fri-Mon) only. I only need it on a Sunday afternoon for my sisters wedding so it seems a waste to have it sitting around for a whole weekend. Failing that, if anyone has a new shape disco around bimingham way, wants to make £100 on a Sunday afternoon and doesnt mind wearing a cap then let me know!

So far Ive got or ordered the following: Tax Disc Holder Key Ring Stubby Aerial Z Badges Luggage net Are there any other 'essential' cheap mods I should be considering? Thinking maybe of white front reflectors, but understand these are not easy to fit?

Tonneau fitted, back from a good drive. Attached are some pics but unfortunately the sun had gone it and it started to rain Still lovin' it!

Well yesterday was Z-day. Didnt sleep well the night before (too excited I think!) and had to get up at 5AM for a lift down to Stansted to pick up the Zed. Dreadful weather on the way down and wasnt looking forward to my first drive being in torrential rain...but needent have worried. Met the guy at 9AM, went and sorted the money out at the banks, did the documents and I was away. OH MY GOD....I hadnt driven this car before, only a dealer demo, and I forgot how good it feels It was a bit dirty inside and out, but that didnt matter, the sound of the engine, the throw of the gearbox, the weight of the steering all came back to me and after 5 minutes I felt completely at ease with it. It does seem a bit louder and keener than the standard GT I drove (mines a GT4) but thats just a subjective feel comparing my test drive 2 weeks ago. The weather cleared up and had a drive back in the dry, just cruising 70-80mph with the occasional blast, mostly with the stereo off to listen to it . I have a bad back/neck but after a 2 hour drive I felt fine so that is a big relief to me. And the best bit was the average mpg showed 31.5 and I really wasnt expecting it to be that good on a run! Yesterday afternoon I gave it a wash twice, pre-wax and wax and a good clean inside and its now like new....pics to follow shortly hopefully. Ive already decided this is the best car ive ever had and ive only had it 24 hours. There isnt one single thing I dont like (yet!), I even think the interior quality seems ok (and thats coming from an Audi). They guy who sold it me was a nice chap, gave me the tonneau cover he'd bought and never fitted, the 6-CDs in the changer and some sunglasses as he couldnt be bothered to get them out! Oh, and its a 1 year old Kuro GT4 with 5000 miles and I paid £22500 which I think seems resonable, what do peeps think. Havent seen one at a dealer under £25. Thats a £7k loss in one year from new price. and sorry guys but Kuro is definately THE colour along with maybe Ebisu. Right, off to fit that tonneau and then out for a blast........

Up to around £35 im still in If they did previous GBs around this price then whats their problem? Is there not any other suppliers who could quote? Appreciate all your efforts so far Chris

Price is good, no download restrictions and no expensive customer service number. Ive got the £14.99 evolution package and had no problems since May when I joined.

Just been reading the article in AutoExpress comparing the Zed with the Z4M Coupe and Cayman S. The Zed gets a good review but I cant help wondering about weight - 1557kg according to Autoexpress (I thought it was 1525?). Is a lot of it down to the engine, or just the general build of the car? Not a critiscism, and am desperately looking forward to getting mine next week , but the Zed has the same bhp and more torque than the Cayman S (1340kg), but looses out on performance due to around an extra 200kg in weight. A Zed weighing 100kg+ less would be an interesting prospect! Sorry if this has been done before, I did have a quick search first.

I dont think I'll even try to compete On another note, was there a brochure produced for the GT4 and is it available in PDF anywhere to download and drool over? ...or would I be better off asking this as a sperate thread as people might not read down his far

Some horrible dealer badge that needs to come off, but current owner was worried about damaging paintwork. Might come of with a hairdryer and some dental floss maybe?
