  1. Yeah, but I already get evo anyway so dont understand why they would send me a 4 year old issue out of the blue. Usually it comes in a grey cover with Evo printed on the outside but this one was in a white cover. Weird. Ive emailed 'em anyway to ask.....
  2. Any subscribers on here? If so any idea why I received a copy of Issue 50 in the post today?
  3. Just spent 40 minutes in the car, took a call, and it stayed connected fine. Maybe the power save setting has made a difference, will keep an eye on it over the next few days as it could be a useful tip to future w800i owners
  4. Omly had mine 4 weeks and love it. Came close to getting a DC5 but once I had driven the Zed I was sold Best car Ive ever had Get one!
  5. Yep - already done that Just changed the phone into power save mode which only allows one bluetooth connection at a time to see if it makes any difference. Cant see any settings that turn BT off after any length of time. Off to have a play now and think I just need to watch it for 5 mins as Mike says, to see what happens!
  6. Thanks Guys. Originally I was putting the phone in the cubby hole on the dash, but today I put it right next to the adaptor and it made no difference. Ive tried all possible settings with the phone as well. Its a newish model only 6 months old so would have expected the version of BT to be OK. Definately seems to only hold the connection for about 5 mins I'll do a google search to see if I can find any more info....
  7. Installed my new BT adapter on Saturday, got it working and when it works its great BUT....... After a short period of time the bluetooth connection seems to drop. The indicator on the BT adaptor starts off red when it first connects, and I can make and receive calls ok, but after about 5 mins it wont dial when I make a call and when I check the indicator it has gone to yellow. The only way to get it to connect again is to turn my phone off and back on again. Im not sure whether this is a problem with the adapter or my phone (Sony Ericsson w800i). I will try it with my g/f's phone tonight if I remember but has anyone else had similar problems or got any suggestions? This morning when i got in the car it connected fine and i didnt use it at all. By the time I got to work half hour later, the indicator light had gone yellow again. I put the phone next to the adapter so its not a distance problem!
  8. Looks really nice mate I'm even starting to like the yellow a bit now!
  9. Get the Bluetooth adapter as already said. It just slots into the cradle and you can use it with any BT phone, and you can use the steering wheel controls and voice dialling etc. Fitted mine yesterday and it seems really good How stupid are some dealers, they should know basic stuff like this
  10. Got mine today from Mr F. Couldnt get it to work at first, but think it was down to settings on my phone (W800i). Bit of fiddling and works a treat now
  11. I was going to point this out as well, it may just be the light though...

    SAT NAV

Never understand why manufacturer SatNavs are SO expensive. I'd get a TomTom and go on a nice holiday instead!

    Chrome Grille Kit

Well just in case anyone else fancies having a go, this is the stuff I used as recommended earlier in the thread. Couldnt find it anywhere in Halfords so had to ask an assistant, it then seemed to appear from 'under the counter'!
  14. Power is the same, but the Cayman S is getting on for 200kg lighter from memory, so performance isnt the same. I love my Zed to bits but would consider the Cayman S if funds permitted. Anyway, isnt it more than £10k difference once youve added all the options you get as std with the Zed?
  15. Yep. That's what I thought! Drove one before I bought the Zed and it just didnt feel special. Not that different in looks from my mates TDi apart from some tacky styling bits. Lambo wheels are quite nice tho.
  16. Ive had 2 tanks of V-Power in mine followed by the current tank of Sainsburys Super, as I needed to fill up and no shell garages were nearby. I know I shouldnt really be able to tell a difference, but I am convinced that it doesnt feel as eager on the current tank, especially in the higher ranges of 5-7k where it now feels flatter. Plus the fact I couldnt out drag a Focus ST the other day (mind you I think it was chipped as it had stickers all over it - well I hope it was!) Back to V-Power from now on I think.
  17. Dunno, but it even makes yellow look good
  18. Lovely car, lovely colour For that price I would expect a decent warranty though, as you can get 2003 UK GTs privately for around the same money. http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/99894.htm http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/97230.htm
  19. That's a sad sight, but glad to hear you are OK. A car's just a piece of metal after all. A reminder that powerful RWD cars can bite and I agree with Stevies sentements, my TC will only be going off in controlled situations and only in the dry.
  20. Also found out this morning that Rain the night before + Open Window + Wet trousers and shirt! Opened my window to drive off theis morning and all the rain sitting on my car suddenly decides to come through the window onto me....got soaked
  21. Im No 162, but havent got all my other details to hand at the moment.
  22. Apologies if this belongs to anyone on here BUT sorry its hideous http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2004-NISSAN-350Z- ... otohosting

    Chrome Grille Kit

Can't be done to a Nismo bumper The Nismo kit is great, but two packs of chrome grille kit for £19.99 is considerably cheaper
  24. Geoff and Monkfish! Seems to be a lot of new happy owners (like me!) around at the moment. Still not seen a Chilli in the flesh yet........
  25. Rob Had my 05 for 2 weeks now and loving it as well Nothing wrong with mine as far as I know, what problems do you have?
