    The fact that is gives '0' in the mileage column suggests that its done big miles. The wear to the driver's carpet seems to suggest that as well. Certainly would be my first question anyway.

    I had a Cavalier broken into in a similar way quite a few years ago and I used the Penny washer method that Tim suggested.

    Hi Lewis and Welcome. 313 bhp is for the 07 models. 06 models and the GT4 have 296 bhp and prior to that thay all had 275 iirc

    Hi and Rays were offered as an option up until 2006 when they came as standard, they therefore wouldn't be seen as a modification, just a factory fitted option.

    About 1k miles is fine. What you don't want to do though is to give it maximum straight away. Build up the revs and throttle opening gradually over a period of about 100 miles and it should be fine.

    well he may do, if the tax goes up further and petrol gets more difficult to get hold of and we turn into a "mad max" nation fighting on wastelands over the most valuable commodity - petrol and then theres bloody tina turner wailing like a banshee it could happen ! (well in my head anyway) If that happens I'm heading straight for Tim's place and his collection of weaponary.
