    Just tell your mate that a zed in any colour is a proper car unlike a car that shares the same platform as a Skoda!

    The Zed doesn't have a baffled sump but you shouldn't have any problems so long as your oil level is up to the max.

    Thats a great price!! Is that a rough guide to how much it should be? I think that it was a reduced price because I was having a major service plus additional work done at the same time. Realistically though it's about 2-3 hours work.

    I've got one in my garage colleting dust. If anyone wants to give me £8 inc p&p in the mainland UK for it they can have it.

    Agreed. I've always fancied a Cayman S but could never justify the extra cost over a Zed. If they're lasting well though I could very well be tempted by a 2-3 year old one.

    As Beavis has already said, ditch the Stones and you should see a considerable improvement.
