  1. Check spare wheel, jack, etc is all ok. Check all electrics work - windows, seats, etc. You can check the clutch by putting it in 4th at about 30 mph and flooring the throttle. If it doesn't slip then it should be fine.
  2. Be fair Chris, Jay did turn up at last year's Japfest albeit late Sarnie will be a) washing his hair, painting his nails or c) turn up in his M3
  3. Pleased for you Tim but also sad that you are no longer a Zed owner. Make sure you keep in touch.
  4. A statement like "I have 2 sisters into cars" couldn't pass without some comment
  5. Yes the young chavs who then like to roam the streets as mummy said they can stay out slightly later as its not dark Is that based on past experience Jay?
  6. You've got a sister Nic. You kept that quiet. Is she a petrol head too?
  7. Agree with all of above. In fact is there anything not to like about lighter, warmer evenings?
  8. Just tell your mate that a zed in any colour is a proper car unlike a car that shares the same platform as a Skoda!
  9. The Zed doesn't have a baffled sump but you shouldn't have any problems so long as your oil level is up to the max.
  10. Thats a great price!! Is that a rough guide to how much it should be? I think that it was a reduced price because I was having a major service plus additional work done at the same time. Realistically though it's about 2-3 hours work.
  11. I've got one in my garage colleting dust. If anyone wants to give me £8 inc p&p in the mainland UK for it they can have it.
  12. Agreed. I've always fancied a Cayman S but could never justify the extra cost over a Zed. If they're lasting well though I could very well be tempted by a 2-3 year old one.
  13. As Beavis has already said, ditch the Stones and you should see a considerable improvement.
  14. Difficult to tell without any pictures, but the price seems good.
