    Go for it mate. I always wanted a Lotus Esprit Turbo before I was 40. Not only did I get one of my own, but also one as a company car as well.

    That sounds like a faulty clutch thrust bearing. I had 2 in mine so far and it's having a third one fitted next week at the same time as it's first service.

    You're wrong The copper grease has a very high melting point and will stay on the surface for ages.

    You should be able to get that plugged since it's not in the sidewall as Val said.
