  1. The car looks awesome, dude. You won't have any problem in selling that tomorrow. The question is WHY?
  2. Another way of looking at it is the engine has an electronic rev limiter installed anyway, which on mine is at 7000 rpm. The shift light should be set so as to warn you in advance that you are getting near the rev limiter and need to change up.
  3. Thanks for the heads up on this company, they have just quoted me £156 less than my renewal quote with Privilege. As you probably have read somewhere on here since I made this post I have changed the Zed GT for a GT4 and they charged an extra £20 and said at next renewal March 2008 it would be £350, didn't think they could quote you more than 30 days ahead!? still we will see. One thing I did spot though, where as my 407 Coupe (insured with L&V as well) is covered fully comp when abroad the Zed is only minumum insurance cover, but can be upgraded for a fee for the time spent abroad, might be worth reading your small print on your own insurances!!! Thanks, I'll check that. I'm more than happy with the quote though. It came back at £369 including protected ncb, legal cover and an excess of £250.
  4. Is that a semi-synthetic? It doesn't state it but I'm fairly certain it's semi
  5. I use Castrol Magnatec 5w/30.
  6. Thanks for the heads up on this company, they have just quoted me £156 less than my renewal quote with Privilege.
  7. Sanie's using Google Fish again Enjoy matey and let's have lots of pics of the girls
  8. Got my shift indicator set at 6900.
  9. Nope - looks exactly the same as MY06 That's coz it is
  10. Pleased you've made a sale dude You can now look forward to getting the next one.
  11. Also why do cars require front plate yet a bike don't??? They stopped putting front plates on bikes to reduce injuries to pedestrians in accidents. Since the front plate used to be fixed vertically, I think you'll get the picture
  12. I've had 3 clutch thrust bearings replaced in a similar period and the problem still persists. Fundamentally, when changing gear at high rpm the thrust bearing emits a chirp when the pedal is released.
  13. Not too bad then. And certainly not as bad as my old Lotus Esprit Turbo. I've now ordered a V1 from Adam and he has done me a good deal. Sarnie, you mentioned that you had to remove a counter balance weight from the tailgate when you had yours fitted. What does this look like and where is it to be found?
  14. Thanks Sarnie Don't know what I did wrong there
  15. Not sure how that works dude? I dont want another car jsut the cash. Im thinking about calling my dealer and seeing what they would offer me to take it back. I thought you may have needed some cheaper wheels so suggested this. If you are thinking of selling into the trade, you could give Dan a shout.
  16. to the forum If you can get Tesco Super 99 near you you'd be better off using that. It's cheaper and in some cases works better.
  17. Chips Away or Dent Tec will provide free estimates if there are any near you.
  18. Just a thought mate, but have you considered doing a reverse deal where you p/x it for a cheaper car and get cash back?
  19. Enjoy your test drive Sarnie and we will expect nothing less than a full report
