  1. I recon it's a TVR
  2. How would you feel if they were proposing calling it Nixy?
  3. Am I missing something here?
  4. Come on Jay spill the beans, or are you too embarrased
  5. It is a big car. 4315 mm long 1815 mm wide 1325 mm high Don't forget though the door mirrors fold in and that will reduce the width by around 250 mm. Where you going on your hols anyway Nixy?
  6. So long as you're not considering this method-
  7. Are you sure you don't need glasses, Digsy? http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/172555.htm
  8. The new Zed is supposed to be due in 2009, or so I've heard.
  9. Most definately. But it would have to be the 'S'
  10. You're absolutely right Kev. The Cayman came out top overall, but the Zed beat the Z4 in most areas including handing and driveability.
  11. Hi and I'm sure you're already checking them, but Pistonheads and eBay are good sources of used Zeds.
  12. I don't have the article, but EVO magazine put this up against the Cayman S and the Zed and it came out last. Apparently, it is quite hard work to drive, has a very heavy clutch and doesn't handle as well as the Zed.
  13. Pleased for you Ming. It looks a good job
  14. Barking -
  15. Love F40s. I was drooling over one at a Ferrari owner's day at Castle Combe a few years ago and the owner asks me if I want to have a look at the engine. It turned out to be Nick Mason - gobsmacked or what?
  16. Looking
  17. I'm currently on my third clutch thrust bearing in less than a year. I've given up now and have decided to accept that it is just not up to the job and will have to live with it.
  18. Quick sale or what? Well done dude.
  19. The car looks awesome, dude. You won't have any problem in selling that tomorrow. The question is WHY?
  20. Another way of looking at it is the engine has an electronic rev limiter installed anyway, which on mine is at 7000 rpm. The shift light should be set so as to warn you in advance that you are getting near the rev limiter and need to change up.
  21. Got me there I hadn't considered that.
  22. Thanks for the heads up on this company, they have just quoted me £156 less than my renewal quote with Privilege. As you probably have read somewhere on here since I made this post I have changed the Zed GT for a GT4 and they charged an extra £20 and said at next renewal March 2008 it would be £350, didn't think they could quote you more than 30 days ahead!? still we will see. One thing I did spot though, where as my 407 Coupe (insured with L&V as well) is covered fully comp when abroad the Zed is only minumum insurance cover, but can be upgraded for a fee for the time spent abroad, might be worth reading your small print on your own insurances!!! Thanks, I'll check that. I'm more than happy with the quote though. It came back at £369 including protected ncb, legal cover and an excess of £250.
  23. Is that a semi-synthetic? It doesn't state it but I'm fairly certain it's semi
  24. So the new motor is a Zed then?
