    It's not actually a kit car Val. It's hand built by a guy called Steve Owen in York to your own specification. It cost me close to £28k in 2004. It weighs around 300 kilos and with about 170 bhp on tap does the standing 1/4 in about 10 sec with a terminal speed of 109 mph. I don't know the exact 0-60 but would imagine it's close to 3 secs. I've had 3 really good seasons with it and it currently holds the class records at Pembrey, Llandow and Colerne.

    You could consider Cape Verde. I've not been myself but I hear it's quite unspoilt and not full of package holiday families.

    I was one of two GM Zeds parked along "the back row", which was indeed on the left along the fencing (well whats left of it) and to the left of the marquee. Reg OE53***. Which one were you? The other Zeds I saw was the other in the line with me (with cars between) and a group of 3 in the centre part of the stand. Mine was the GM coupe in the centre of the stand.

    The only members from here that were on a stand as far as I know were Choptop and me and we were with the Z Owners club which was right by the cafe. I was on the Z Club stand, hidden away on the back fence. Had a mate on the MLR stand who I spend the day with. I think I saw your car Chris - was it on the left as you were facing the cafe?
