    If you intend to do just track days then bike helmets are fine. If you intend getting a competition licence however and doing any MSA events, you will need a car helmet as bike ones don't have the necessary approval any more. Demon Tweeks do a free return policy whereby if you choose a helmet that doesn't fit, or you don't like, they will exchange it free of charge.

    I've got an old Renault Laguna that I use mainly for towing my race car around during the Summer. But at the first sign of snow the Zed stays home and the Laguna gets used.

    I had a Mk1 RS1600 (BDA). Best fun ever. Period. Wish I still had it!! JohnK I had one of these too. The local copper tried to pull me for a noisy exhaust and when I explained that it was induction noise from the 40s, he looked at me blank and said 'get it fixed'
