    In a worst-case scenario, excessive engine wear due to frequent cold running that because of a richer mixture can wash the bores and excessive clutch wear is also likely due to stop/start driving.

    I agree with you mate! Why the hell would they race in that weather I agree also. In fact when the weather is anything like that when I'm competing, I just don't bother to turn up and forfit my entry fee. Better that than smashing the car to pieces and maybe also injuring yourself.

    Signed. Had a bit to do with these guys when I was with Lotus Cars - fantastic displays of piloting.

    It uses a Gixxer thou (Suzuki GSX-R 1000) engine which is midly tuned to produce around 170 bhp. The gross weight of the car is 320 Kgs and with me being a fly-weight of around 65 Kgs, the power-to-weight is pretty impressive.
