  7. i already had the battery covers and engine cover done in anthacite to match handles etc and the green hoses are on order from samco but takes 4-5 weeks as they are all made to order
  8. **** BRU looked like blade silver heading towards kilmarnock, didnt wave as i was in my van
  9. cheers guys, i got the painter to paint the plenum with the same paint as the car, i love the orange of the strut bar so that will be staying for the moment, you get spacers with the plenum for the original strut bar which raises it up 6mm but just isnt enough for the Summit bar, and yes green samco are on order
  10. welcome to the site , and dont forget to check out the members cars for sale
  11. well today i finally got around to fit my kinetix plenum and summit strut bar. wasnt to difficult although i wouldnt reccomend the summit strut bar with the kinetix as they rest against each other and will cause a little damage to the plenum, i am going to give it a trial rum and see how it goes with engine movement. i also noticed that the sensor from the induction kit sit against the strut bar and would like to know if different induction kits have slightly different points for the sensor, a little more towards the bottom or the car would be ideal ! anyways here is a couple of pictures of my hard labour also it sound great with my nismo exhaust and kinetix high flow cats all stripped out all fitted back up !
  12. "not suppose to be water tight" did they honestly think that would work ????
  13. i know what you mean, i guess it comes down to money, most contractors are on a set price to complete work and the quicker its done the more money can be made, i mainly fit kitchens at the moment and would much rather leave the job finished than have to travel back for the sake of my own lazyness but i guess not everyone thinks like that gone are the days when you just got a wage and you could spend a little time perfecting everything
  14. i myself am a joiner and although i now work for myself i use to work for a building company, and the quickest way to get things sorted is to be a right pain in the arse and keep at them , it wont be long before they send someone round to fix the problems. what are the main probs if you dont mind me asking ? Paul
  15. looks like a recovering drug addict
  16. nice result mate get it down to the top gear track and see if you can beat your lap time Paul
  17. the reason mine became faulty was because of a worn wheel bearing so you might also have one of them too i think if it is already broken then it wont get any worse , just get it seen to asap , as you will need traction control and abs in the coming weeks
  18. pretty sure it will be an abs sensor, but it will need plugging into a diagnostic machine to clarify, it can be pretty dodgy driving with out traction control and asb for that matter when you are so use to them being there , had a few hic ups when mine went last year during the ice months, so be careful Paul
