I spent New Years Day at my Grans as the whole family get together there. I parked the Z up on her driveway and within 20mins of being there I was taking my little cousins out in it for a ride - I think I must have taken about 12 people for a ride in it that day. I was approached by a nutter when I was filling up with petrol a few weeks back & he kept saying how it must be a really fast car. So I told him it was twin turbod & running around 800bhp Told him that I had raced and beaten all sorts of Ferraris & Lambos - made the nutters day & me and my mate cracked up laughing after he left I also got stopped in a car park when I got back to the car by some guy who just wanted to look at the engine. Does anyone else get a bit embarrased when they are driving through a town centre & everybody is staring? I never know where to look but my mates seem to think its hilarious

Against Nismo Lots have the Nismo, Exact reason I decided against the Nismo. It sounds great I cant deny that but I would not swap the Blitz for it.

I got my exhaust from Adam & the box was bigger than I am. Didnt have to pay that much in customs charges either.

I contacted Abbey Motorsport about an aftermarket ECU for the Z. They are trying to push the HKS F-Con at the moment. The final cost that they quoted me was well over £3k, Ive still got the quote that they sent somewhere so ill try and dig it out. My car was dynoed a few months back & made just above standard power figures & well below standard TQ figures - this was with filter,plenum,exhaust,y-pipe&cats. I was having a few problems with the cats at the time though so im hoping that now I have my new cats in my torque will return. To get the most out of N/A mods you really need an aftermarket ECU installed but at the price from Abbey + the cost of mods I would have been better off installing a supercharger.

What wheels are they? They look great I would leave them that colour

Was that the Leon? My LFR only put out 180BHP and I used to take it easy for the last mile or 2 of my journey home (all 30MPH limits) and it was always fine. I could see the point in a LC which was mapped or a LCR which was mapped but not my stock. Mapped Ibiza Cupra

Mine was only running 210 & I used to leave it idle for 3/4 minutes

I used to leave mine idling for a few minutes. Invest in a turbo timer though good point, and set it to run for how long? Id set it for 3 or 4 minutes
