Yup, I'm feeling the house price thing atm too. My and my lady are looking to move into a 2 bed place, but around here they are £200k minimum for something I can park the Zed out the front of withiout it being bricked the next morning. We're looking to have to take a 5% buy in from each of our parents to allow us to get something we actually want rather than just something we can get. I also have a mate in Sheffield and on her street last time I was up there, a shell of a house was going for £40k for a 3 bed. Obviously it needed about £80k worth of work I guess but still a damn sight cheaper than down here!

Yup, good ole boring work, keeps me very active on here. Monday mornings tend to be the best, about 100 posts to go through if I havent been on in the weekend

Is this for the front part of the bumber below the errr radiator hole for want of a better description? Below the slats? Might have a go at it. mine is a bit battered with stone chips.

That sux mate. I had a similar situation with my Leon. Got a stone chip which was repaire free of charge by RAC via my insurance. 2 weeks later I got another chip repaired. About a week after than the smallest chip in the world managed to turn into a 12" crack which meant £50 to get the window changed Just have to stay 1/2mile from any other car

You're in pretty much the same boat as me, albeit I'm slightly older. Picked up my car Monday (GM 2003 GT) and havent stopped smiling since. As you say the badge isnt as good as others but the car more than makes up for that. Plus you get way more looks than a beemer would!

Good job chap, looks excellent. Think I need something smaller than a laptop now, it fills too much of the glovebox for my liking as its bigger than the recessed bit. The Mac mini looks sweet, but I think my GF will kill me if I get one! Progress on my install is now the power cables are run (yesterday), I have run the power/USB for the screen and the RCA for sound today. Hooked it up to the lappy and Carnetix v quickly and worked very well. Cant wait to get the screen in and fabricate something for the glovebox

Just pay to pass it on to the next Zed Ok, so I just had a look and the mixed bag of eBooks I have comes to about 650MB, nicely filling a CD. It includes books on 300D, other digi photography and Photoshop CS.

Sounds like ppl are making good progress in the carputer arena. I just got my Pioneer HU installed, all up and running with very little problems. Only thing I missed is that the antenna is powered and I hadnt hooked up the cable to my PAC-ROEM as it didnt match any on my HU loom. Hooked it up to IGN and all is good One thing I did notice is (a) not only did Nissan do a sh*t job removing the satnav as they left loads of cabling, ( the guy who installed it should be shot, the wiring was a mess. Glad I dont have it now as it may have blown something in the car! Just need to get the cable removed from the transmission tunnel down the middle of the seats to tidy it up. Tomorrow I think I will attempt to run my power cable from the battery to the glove box, and maybe the AUX & screen cable through to the HU.
