    pop charger

Its JWTs name for their intake filter. No idea why its a pop charger, probably some marketing thing!
  2. Hmmmm who looks like a hobbit Just joking with ya
  3. I always thought it was cos you look like a hobbit BronZee is quite easy to work out Mine is similarly easy to work out
  4. As I said, reminds me of one of Vals wheel threads..... Excuse the ignorance lads but who the hell is val? A prize **** who helped start the site, turned into complete bellend and got kicked off the site by the admin's. Search for: 'Removed' 'Second hand TT parts' 'Remortgage to pay for some wheels' 'My wheels are better than yours' That just about covers it Maybe hes back? Wheres he living these days?
  5. As I said, reminds me of one of Vals wheel threads..... Excuse the ignorance lads but who the hell is val? An old member whos moved on
  6. Most definately, thats a minimum. So long as they filter 100% of UV I'm happy. Fortunately Oakleys filter ALL UV light, not just UVA and UVB
  7. Hes going to some lengths to use 2 different internet providers to cover his tracks if it is him
  8. I wouldnt get any of those 20 quid cheapy polishers. Go check out Detailing World and see what they make of them. Last I saw they dont have the power or the control required to do a proper job. Nor do the random orbit ones have a true random orbit to them. The cheapest one I was recommended was the Kestrel Dual Action polisher ( http://i4detailing.co.uk/acatalog/Kestr ... her_1.html ), which for the money is excellent, but still 10x that of the Halfords ones! As Martin say, unless you read up a lot and really know what you are doing dont bother, pay a pro and make sure you have a good wash technique afterwards to keep them away. The Zed paint is very thin and can be burnt through very easily if you dont know what you are doing. On the flip side, if you are up for reading up a lot on DW, I used the Kestrel to correct my Zed to a decent level at about 2/3 what it would have cost to get pro to do it, and now I have the stuff to do it again if needs be
  9. I'd expect better of Sarnie and just start it as himself. He doesnt need to hide behind an alterego
  10. Gilly, the car will benefit from breathing mods yes. But from what we are led to beleive, the operating window of the ECU is very limited. So you add more air, you need more fuel. Well the car is very clever, and it knows for the revs and engine load, what fueling it should give (this has a window dependant on other things too), so once you hit the upper window in any given situation you wont get any more power as the car will simply not give it any more fuel, so it runs lean. This coupled to a FBW throttle can control the intake too, thus controlling the airflow. SO yes you will get gains, but only up until the point the car doesnt know what to do with the extra breathing which is pretty quick. From the technosquare website (these guys map loads of 350z, so generally know their stuff I am led to beleive!)
  11. As I said, reminds me of one of Vals wheel threads..... Indeed.
  12. It will easily do more than 20MPG if you dont have a lead foot. For normal driving there is so much of its torque low down you dont need to rev it much. One thing to watch if you've driven RWD before, its that at the limit, its set to understeer. When not driven with commitment it can make it feel a little uninspring. I've found you have to give it a bit of throttle in the corners than you might expect and it balances out nicely
  13. Unfortunately we are not my350z.com and we dont bash Rotas like those JDM sluts do
  14. The acceleration will seem very lack luster, but just make sure you keep an eye on the speedo, 3 figure speeds are very quickly reached! Its very surreal to start with. Best fun is when you get it up and onto its feet, it can fly round corners. Dont expect it to be like an Elise or similar though, its very heavy, so feels very planted.
  15. Fook me, you're a genius! As Nixy says, exactly the same as highstreet fashion. Why reinvent the wheel if you dont need to
  16. +1 - Mitz - when are you going to start offering loyalty points?
  17. Used to be owned by some senior management in charge of the 350z IIRC. Couldnt remember the full story. Wonder if this 370z belongs to the same chap?
  18. IMO they are worth the money when you look at the cost of other mods that do nothing for performance. They give a little mid range torque which is noticable if you do a fair amount of motorway bashing. Noise wise, it does make it roar a little bit more, but only really noticable when you have an intake like a pop charger
  19. You are very good at getting as close to the line as possible without getting banned, a true art. If you were that good at driving, you'd be in F1
