  1. Wouldnt expect anything less
  2. Its 4 figures And yet you still get hose pipe for the catch can rather than a nice silicon tube I did tell the others if you have to ask the price you wouldnt like it!
  3. Compared to doing the LED swap, this one will be dead easy
  4. Interesting reading. Do you think there is any more to be had from the car or do you feel you have taken the tuning as far as you can get it?
  5. Your torque curve looks good up til about 5k RPM where it seems to drop off a little quicker than I would expect. Peak torque is spot on for a standard car, just it tails off quickly at higher RPMs which means your BHP has suffered. Not sure what the cause of it is though. Perhaps heat soak, more likely something else. Dont know what though
  6. Welcome to the forum You mention you are an Up Rev dealer, does that mean you will be offering reflashing of the OEM ECU and mapping? If so how much would this be?
  7. Thats mean I have a spare Recaro sticker if you want it Just one? I'll need a pair... Obviously these seats are different, and will be an improvement over oem. The point i am making is that the colour scheme and material, from the pictures, looks like my seats. If i was forking out for new seats, i'd want them to look a bit more exciting, like the red bride seats perhaps. But as you said Ian, you wanted to keep them understated. Now that makes more sense I only have one Recaro sticker as the other one was folded in the box with the seats and the backing came away from part of it and black fluff stuck to it
  8. So you'd ideally want to compare it against your car on the same dyno on the same day? Thats the only real way to test it isnt it. Would obviously need to know the resolution of the graph to determine if it is flatter than this or not. I would expect you want the flattest and closest to perfect AFR, but I dont really know. For the Evo chaps, their AFRs werent very flat at all, but obviously they have more power than a Zed, so its horses for corses! As you say we need a real pro to tell us what the best AFR looks like
  9. WRT the dyno, DynoDynamics are pretty damn consistent from few I've seen in action with the same car(s) so I would trust the numbers. Agree we need wheel torque though. What does your AFR read at Mark? Between 12.5 and 13 for the run seems pretty consistent to me, much better than stock!
  10. Stonechips from my 70 mile a day journey killed the painted finish. But agree if done properly wet painting should be pretty hard wearing. Powdercoating will always be harder wearing though
  11. I'm afraid if you need to ask, it will probably be too expensive! Try http://www.z1auto.com for some pricing on the Arc stuff
  12. Thats mean I have a spare Recaro sticker if you want it
  13. Might be worth PM'ing the last lot as a bulk PM if you havent already mate, they obviously arent paying attention
  14. Right, lets go back to the begining, how many layers of wax do you have on there? I agree it could have reacted with the wax, so a quick was with simple water and Fairy washing up liquid should strip it off. When you have done that, try claying it. IF that makes no difference then next up would be to try some very unabrasive polish/cleanser like Dodo Lime Prime, PB SSR1 or AG SRP or even some AG Bug and Tar remover. If that doesnt shift it then you know you are into the laquer in some way. Try something more abrasive list PB SSR2 or one of the megs proper polishes. Although this is getting into a teritory where you are more likely to want to call in a pro as if you do too much you may take off the laquer (very unlikely but dont blame me if you do!) Incidentally, do you not have a local wheel refub place near you? They will be able to say pretty much instantly what is wrong with them just by having them in front of them
  15. Looking good Ian. I was expecting you to have the Bride graduated material though You need some CF and Alcantara/flocking now They are massively different. Have you sat in some Bride/Recaro/other racing seats? The pictures dont do it justice! They are sooo much tighter and bolsters are simply massive in comparison to the std Zed seats.
  16. Ah, the one I didn't click on then! That's pretty good looking at that, still be good to know what it's mapped for though.
  17. Powdercoat, the coating is far harder wearing as I found out when my rims were originally refished with wet paint and it flaked away within a few weeks, had them powerder coated and its lasted much longer
  18. AFR can be seen in the WHP graph. Seems to hover nicely around 12.5-13
  19. +1 That would be logical as long as they air breathing or performance in some way To those asking for what the gains will be, there really is no answer. There isnt the experience in this country to possibly say what the gains are going to be. I would suggest reading up on my350z.com, there is much more experience in mapping there and gains are likely to be better represented over there.
  20. Cant see the footage on the Beeb at work - but here it is on YouTube
  21. Good luck bud, let us know how you get on! Theres been another post on my350z the other day from some guy doing a guide and it seems simpler than I remember from what hes posted. However, I wouldnt do it on my only dash, I would want a spare one which costs mucho money
  22. Mate, try it with something milder first! Christ you dont attack laquer with Autosol, thats metal polish, not for laquer! Try some scratchX or AG SRP. If you have gone through the laquer you will know about it as you will be able to feel the difference in the surface.
  23. I keep voting now and again when I get bored Looks like hes onto a winner, cant have that Audi winning
  24. Looks like respectable results guys. How do these compare to what they are getting in the States? Does UpRev keep any kind of records of tunes and figures made? Look forward to seeing how this progresses with modded cars. My own car with plenum spacer and pop charger made 240WHP on a DD a few months back. Will compare my plot to yours when I get home. Oh and what year/model was the Zed in question?
