Usually its somewhere between 15-17% quoted - but I never get this percentage thing as if you have 500HP, you're not going to lose more than someone running a stock engine if you have the same running gear Saying that as Captain has an auto it will lose a bit more, so I'd say hes just tipping over 300HP Going by 17%, that gives my 370z 360+HP (and more likely as I have an auto too)

Abbey give about 30HP (~15% of hub) as losses - so 290HP for you sir

Did that not take a while on speed 2? Thats rather slow! Normally use speed 2 to spread the compound about and then work up to 4/5 to work it in on my DA6, then back down to 3 to burnish it at the end when the compound has done its stuff.

This thread might be the way that it gets highlighted so that the OP can either get his goods or his money back. .......my point exactly. That thread was locked as it was deemed to be an inappropriate idea. Something along the lines of 'we don't start threads to publically bash people'. Not having a particular go at anyone but you've got to admit its a little bit double standardy. We consider each instance of this kind of thing on its own merits and in this instance the team have deemed it appropraite this time to allow the thread to stand. Previous threads have not allowed a trader a right to reply before going public whereas in this case Lee is not responding to the OP and this looks to be the last resort to getting his attention.

Wasnt trying to suggest stretching yourself to get a new one, just we see a few members be unrealistic with how quickly the prices will drop. Seems you have a sensible head and know what you want and have seen cars before in the same price range, so one will turn up eventually

+1. I have to say as nice a chap as he is (which he is a very nice chap), he should not be taking monies off members unless he is going to supply the required parts in a timely manner. Saying you will get parts and not doing so is forgivable if no money has changed hands, but taking money and then not supplying anything is not.

The only heavy part tends to be for dampening the metal panels and you dont need to do a huge amount of them. A lot of the noise in the Zed comes from sound reverberating around the cabin space which I found that soft foam works quite well and doesnt weight much at all. Spoke to an Alfa technician the other day about rattles in the new car and he said they usually just stuff the areas of trim with soft foam type material too to stop them

I guess they are road going versions of the cars they race in the Ginetta Champs that I see on TV. Look like great fun cars, similar price braket to a Elise/Exige.

Nah, theres plenty of these pikey scum to make a whole army of them. Dont put them in with our real men and women on the front line, send them in as a group on their own. No trust requried then Although talk of National Service does bring up a good point. You know why people come back with more respect from that kind of service - because squaddies beat respect into them, something parents/teachers/Police cant do these days I certainly feel there is a part these scroats can play in society even if its just some kind of TA like training where they go get some respect taught to them.
