All this stuff on Im hearing on this forum and the other from people complaining about not being able to increase performance because of the ECU - this mod will increase performance with the only downside being a slight increase in fuel consumption and a reduction in top end speed - something that 99% of us would not notice. Yes red line is reached far easier - increase your RPM limit! What does everyone think?! G

No pre-facelift so no issues with the immobiliser What sort of deal can you do without OEM trade in - we all want to be able to revert our car back to man. spec dont we!?

Yeah right Depends on who your stealer is - I've been around here long enough to have heard some right horror stories ...but lets just hope you get it sorted with the minimum of fuss and expense

Thankfully I have just moved from Dorset so no need to do that route anymore It's a shame though - did a regular trip from Dorchester to Woking (vice versa) - its a nice run with no cameras (or tax disk readers ) on the whole route, until now

Sinbad, Does your DC5 torque steer when you give it some beans - a friend has one (just imported) and it's virtually undriveable when laying down the power - cant keep it in a straight line? Sorry for the hijack Graham No it doesnt torque steer as such, i do find that the diff likes to wonder on uneven roads though. On flat surfaces i dont have any problems, where with torque steer you'd still get the car pulling to one side. Tell him to get a Fast road setup, its meant to work wonders, especially if he gets a set of springs too. For me the ride was the worst thing on the car, brakes are by far better then the 350 and my previous STi. I just sold my CAT-Back exhaust today and the car sounds lifeless If he's looking to mod it, tell him i have a KPRO for sale, the cheapest he'll find anywhere im sure. Yeah he seems to be having the problems on the B roads - thanks for that. Whats a KPRO? I'll let him know.

Side by side they are very different. Was just looking at the bolts and welds etc. I can see the design is different, and if the quality is anything like my Summit I can definitely recommend it! Did you buy yours just to bling up the engine compartment H5? The decision was lead with wanting something to look nicer, and then the decision was made to go with the Summit because of the quality and the fact it is quite a bit lighter than the standard one. Surprisingly so actually.... But the orange mounts and shiny stuff definitely helped as well! Cusco/Summit lighter than OE?! That is surprising as I thought that you might as well stick an RSJ in whilst you're about it looking at those bad boys!!
