  1. ...think yourselves lucky - this is the piece of cr*p I got.........
  2. ...PM me payment details - i'll av one.
  3. You are making assumptions without knowing the full story. The ACT flywheel was installed as part of a clutch disk up-grade - from OEM disk to Nismo disk, and as it happens, the Nismo disk did not react well with the OEM casing (which was not replaced). Which is why a complete Nismo clutch set (including casing) was installed, and as part of the package/deal the Nismo flywheel was included. Not much difference between flywheels - once you get down to this sort of weight from OEM you are not going to feel much more of a difference. The 'chattering' is no more or less between the two. So, as you can see - no hidden agenda.
  4. I was offered a complete Nismo clutch package (Disk, case and flywheel) for a price I could not refuse! Sold car now so have no requirements!
  5. .....comes in original box. One month old. Make me an offer. buyer collects from Woking (Surrey) if possible, but would consider posting for the right price. Make me an offer. G
  6. ...shall I tell you how bad it is?! Just sold my Azure 07 GT with 16k miles, nismo clutch and flywheel (2 days old), Nismo exhaust and Nismo HFCs (2 months old), spacer and exhaust intake plenum (2 months old) for £20775. Only one caller on petrolheads (the guy who bought it!). Let me tell you this also - nismo clutch is one of the best mods you can make to this car, we all know the OEM clutch is a piece of crap, but this is in another league - it really lets you put the power down! Im so impressed im going to buy a MY07 and do the same mod! Why did you sell after doing all that, mate? I already planned to do the clutch through RJN as the Nismo disk on it's own did not sit well with the flywheel - note to everyone out there - replace the whole clutch and casing if you do this sort of mod! So as I wanted a change of car - regret it now - I decided to still go ahead with the work - would not have cost a lot less really if I had gone back to OEM, what with labour and all that. So in answer to your question - I just fancied a change - if I dont go back to another Z i'll import a Civic type R from Japan - test driving one today at Tewkesbury.

  8. ....what line - im looking to buy a Maserati!?
  9. Hi Ian, I have had the ACT flywheel fitted as well - same place as well - your car was in the weekend after mine! I dont know about 'purposeful' but the 'rattling' sound is normal when iddling - sounds very agricultural - like a Land Rover! I have had a few issues with the clutch slipping but that is being looked at and not likely to be traced back to the flywheel. Im in Surrey just off the M25 if that is any help to you. G
  10. ...why would he want you when he's got **REMOVED** as his full-time sales team?!
  11. Good luck with the garage sale mate.
  12. .....i'll take the whole lot for my oem zorst
  13. you're not thinking of changing just the pressure plate ? false economy mate, once the box is off do the lot That's what im doing mate - long story - suffice to say that anybody who needs to replace clutch parts and are running a late MY06 revup i.e. a 350z purchased before the new MY07 variant release should check their VIN number against any OEM parts requirements as Nissan, between the dates of 01/07 and 10/07, actually fitted MY07 clutch plates and discs to MY06 cars, so if, for example you install an MY06 Nismo disc to a late MY06 car (as mentioned above) you will find that the two are incompatible, and all you get is a clutch that slips - my fault - should have checked the VIN

  20. Hi there, Anyone got a dyno graph for an MY06 standard spec (300ps or 296bhp) - even better if it was tested by Charlie at Surrey Rolling Road? Please email to graham71@hotmail.com. Thanks G
  21. Hi all, Three queries - anywhere I can take my car over the weekend to get it dyno'd and any traders out there - how much would a Nismo clutch disc cost me, and how much would a Nismo clutch plate be? For the dyno a 50 mile radius from Woking, surrey. Many thanks Graham
  22. Yep I got away with it too - must have been a tax reader camera
  23. Yep eBay is a joke - OK when you are looking for a bargain and everything goes smoothly, but as soon as something goes wrong and buyer/seller is being unreasonable then all of a sudden it is very hard for you to 1)make contact with ebay and 2) get a result from them. They hide behind non-disclosue at every turn - you complaon about a seller/buyer, and it is found out through ebay's 'investigation', they will not tell you what punishment they receive so you are non-the-wiser as to whether anything has been done! Sorry for going off-topic - I got left unreasonable negative feedback left on my profile and it was not even my fault!
