  1. i did that this morning swallowed pride etc but no way would they reconsider the offer has been withdrawn Well good luck anyway
  2. ....sometimes going the 'other way' is just as effective - swallow your pride, apologise - I have done it before and it works - it's the end result that counts, not how you got there:P
  3. I think you are right here GC350z - I did law at uni and as far as warranties are concerned it depends on reasonable expectations i.e. if you bought a cheap nasty stereo and it failed through faulty electronics rather than misuse after 13 months (on a 12 month warranty) you would not have any means for remedy. But, if you bought a Bang & Olufsen home entertainment system at £30k (yeah a cheap one ) and it goes faulty one year after the 12 month warranty expiring you would have a means for remedy - the fact that they offer a 3 year warranty anyway goes to reinforce this notion that you would not expect a product of this quality and price to break down on you after two years.
  4. Stu, you big misery! There's lots of fun stuff you can do with girls in cars too! ....not in the Z Digsy - it's just not possible????!!! Use your imagination Graham... ...it's just not possible with the doors shut!

  6. You aint on Phils high roller list if you still pay with paypal, highrollers use direct bank transfer I use bank transfer - the post was a joke, a witty repartee. Oh also, I dont really have a watch like that either - that was a joke also, but that's our little secret eh Chris - don't tell anyone?!
  7. I was just about to say I have never seen a girl beind the wheel of the Z but I remember a couple of years ago seeing a blade silver come onto the M11 going at a fair whack and slotted herself behind me where we had a bit of fun until I pulled over - going far to fast for me - I bottled it:lol: She and her ladyfriend were wearing shades.
  8. including Nixy we believe, but she has yet to fully reveal herself She has to me .....yeah in court - remember the stalking charge? (psssst....she was the one behind the protection screen)
  9. ...until Toni & Guy have them as fleet cars I would not worry too much pal - keep up-to-date here: http://www.toniandguy.com// (as you want pictures of girls they got that as well, tee-hee! )
  10. ....look weird though wont it - the rear bumper coving where the tail pipes sit are even more pronounced than on the Z?! On the Z it'll just look wrong - like you needed to replace your zorst for some reason but could not afford a replacement so you took it to Kwik-fit for them to fit a 79.99 one on - you know the sort! But that is just my opinion - one lesson i've learnt is that when it comes to cars you dont question someones taste ..as there but for the grace of god go I!

Slightly off-topic here - does anyone know how much the OE clutch and plate weighs and if there is anything out in the market to replace it that is lower in weight by a good margin? Edit: Scrub the above - someone talked some common sense into me - im not going to get any appreciable gains in performance unless the car is used on the track, which it is not.

Thats what would deter me from getting one as the ECU would have to be flashed and that aint cheap in the UK But new flywheel and clutch id be interested in that I thought you would have had that covered already what with all the mods you've done Jay?! not yet mate still researching it, its a big risk to take if it f's up mate, its not like the states where they have it done to a T, over here you say UK spec and they just say, oh erm yeh we will give it a shot, and thats not the kind of approach I want nah I was thinking along the lines of replacing OE clutch and flywheel!

Quote from Adam: get1 - it's about a 4 hour job to do but requires specialized tools to set the clearances and measure the shim sizes you'll need. I have the 3.9 in my own car....I wish the 4.08 was available at the time, I'd love to have it in my car!

    i'm pretty much set on getting jwt flywheel and clutch, partly due to quality and partly due to cheap deals buying both together. i do like changing gear so would probably give the final drive a go depending on price. can you let me know if you get any decent quotes? maybe cheaper to buy in bulk? i'm a bit wary of remapping the ecu for more revs, as there's always a reason why you don't get them with stock. . . anyway, just out of interest, below is stolen from 350z-tech Table of max speeds Gear. . . .3.5 @6850. 3.9 @6850 . 3.9 @7200 1st. . . . .38.9. . . . . . .35.1. . . . . . . 36.9 2nd. . . . 63.5. . . . . . .57.3. . . . . . . 60.3 3rd. . . . .90.8. . . . . . .82.0. . . . . . . 86.2 4th. . . . .116.1. . . . . .104.8. . . . . . 110.2 5th. . . . .147.1. . . . . .132.9. . . . . . 139.7 6th. . . . .185.6. . . . . .167.6. . . . . . 176.5 not convinced the z would do 185 mph so there is some wasted gear ratio going there. . . Yep Ive seen that. I might be going for a jwt clutch - glad I went ACT for flywheel over jwt flywheel - jwt is not exactlt svelte, if you know what I mean

ACT Pro Flywheel - extra-ordinarily lightweight compared to stock and other more popular flywheels and has good rep. I hear that Adam from Z1 has some more in stock Re extra gear changing - remap ecu to provide more revs - i think one guy increased his rev range to 7600 or something like that.

Not sure Mike how big the job is but im having zorst/flywheel changed imminently so not a big job for me in the general scheme of things Adam from Z1 has them in stock again - im hoping he will advise. G
