  1. EBC redstuff are £99 for a full car set. Ferodo DS2500 £185 for a full car set. No comparison between the two, although the EBC are better than standard the DS2500 are in a different league altogether. These prices include delivery.
  2. you need to lift the car and have the wheels off to get to them properly, you can't really get to the rubbers from just underneath the car, needs to be done from the wheel arch.
  3. Did you remember to depress the clutch pedal.
  4. pic of the sway bar setup, although this is a different bar I have used this pic because it is easy to point you i the right direction. The right hand end of the blue bar shows the connector or drop link, it is this drop link which needs lubricating. If you look carefully you willsee the rubber which needs to be pulled back and then use a staightforward spray grease, mostof thse come with a small straw attachment to make it easier to direct the spray right inside the rubber.
  5. We have had two cars recently with premature wear on the clutch, in both cases the slave cylinder was found to be at fault, basically the clutch was not disengagin.
  6. The creaking at the rear comes from the drop links on the anti roll bar. The rubbers can be eased back and apply some spray grease.
  7. Sorry for the delayed reply no computer for the past few days but as Sarnie said already DS2500 pads are £185 for the full car inc delivery. Cheers Sarnie

  9. Yes they are a direct replacement.
  10. As you know we always do our best. We have been pushing for these to be available for months. They seem to get a good write up. We have been using them on Evo's for some time now and in all honesty they have outperformed the AP discs everytime, and Evo's do have some serious brake problems.

  12. We have comming into stock shortly the new two piece discs from performance Friction. The capabilities of these discs is well documented with the following benefits:- The two piece floating disc's utilise new patented technology know as "Direct Drive". This technology allows the disc flange to float in the bobbin structure, allowing radial and axial expansion of the disc without being constrained by the hub or hat. The benefits of the direct drive system is as follows: Reduced Thermal distortion and warping No rattling - 100% silent operation Reduced Drag and increased mileage Re-usable hat/hub assembly We haven't firmed up the prices as yet but these are likely to be around £550 per pair for the front, we are still awaiting details on the rears.
  13. I'll take it off your hands Paul.

  16. EBC Redstuff are £99 delivered full car set.
  17. They may well not have known about the repair, the most usual cause of this is after repairs by the likes of 'chips away' type outfits, and thats not putting them down it's just down to how good the operater is, but not possibly the dealers fault.
  18. Looks very much to me like the panel has been repaired at sometime and then clearcoated without removing the arial. The problem with this is that it leaves what is termed as an open edge to the clearcoat which in time allows water to penetrate the edge and then loosens the clearcote hence the flaking. It can also happen if the surface is not keyed properly before applying the clearcoat, very unusual to have this happen on manufacturers paint.

In a similar postion really, car very rarely sees rain, finer mesh has been ordered as well. We are also making up some underside deflector panels which will still allow the vents to do their job but will direct any water away from sensitive areas, these are fitted on some of the scoobys and are an exact size for the vent panel just need the debth trimming.

Thats what I meant by being dissapointed with the fitment. The panel gaps are approx 2mm bigger either side than the standard bonnet. We didn't pay a huge amount for it and really just wanted to see what the quality is like but I would have issues in recommending these to anyone. We are going to make some adjustments which will solve the problem but these are adjustments that can be done with bodyshop knowledge but not for the man in the street to undertake, and for the cost of the bonnets I would not expect to have to do this.

It's a Seibon bonnett, still need to make a few adjustments, fit was not as good as we expected and had to elongate the holes in the hinges to bring it forward, could still do with a bit more taken out, gaps by the wings are bigger than standard so we had to satin black the section where the wing bolts to the body. No pre drilled holes for the rubber trims either so need to carefully drill these out. Also the vents sit on the battery and brake fluid covers so may have to trim a little off the underside of the vent closest to the screen, a couple of mil should take care of that. Bearing in mind how big Sebon are I would have expected these issues to have been addressed by now. Finish is very good though.
