De-cats are basically a pipe to replace the cats, this removes the restrictive flow in the exhaust, some cars benefit from this and some don't.
It does sometimes have a trade off in that it can reduce torque at the lower end.
Cosmetic repair is fine to tidy the car if you are selling but not a good long term fix, generally looks fine for a short while but blended areas soon start to show.
Just for everyones info there are no allen key bolts to undo to change pads and discs on the Brembo cars.
To remove the calipers there are two 21mm bolts (socketsize)
If the battery cover is on its no problem.
Most average cars have the battery right at the front exposed to all weathers and rarely causes a problem.
We have the TS bonnet and it's out in all weathers including serious downpours at Le Mans this year and no problems at all.
We have only used the standard latch and it has been on for over 6 months now with no problems and included in that time have been some very high speed runs with no signs of the bonnet lifting at all.
One thing we did notice was how sturdy the braceing was compared to others.
The plenum is proffesionally machine polished to a very high gloss smooth finish. Nothing in the process will cause any damage to the plenum itself.
After care will be required as with any polished metal surface, if you ignore it it will be affected by salt etc.
To keep it in good order you only need to lightly polish with something like Autosol every now and again.
Still drawn a blank on the bolts at the moment, had three different pitch's and none fit correctly, not given up though.
Polished plenum is available on an exchange basis for £120.
The NXT is only for polishing bare metal such as aluminium etc, it can remove laquer coat so be very carefull not to use on the wheels, the coatings paticularly on Jap wheels is very thin and doesn't take much to remove.
Quite the reverse actually.
The KW is in fact two systems in one in that it gives a much better low speed ride than the standard setup but when you push on it really comes into it's own.
The KW has a much greater range of adjustment which the TEIN doesn't have particularly on bump and rebound which is where the difference really shows.
As I said we sell both and have run both but the KW wins out.
Sorry to hear of your mishap.
Suspension wise you would be hard pushed to beat the KW Variant 3 coilover kit.
The list price is £1095 we can do this for £985.

We can also offer the TEIN kit as well but to be honest the KW is in a different league.
We also have the Nismo V2 bumper available for £310
We haven't finalised the full investment costs against required returns yet but I can assure you they will be very competitive.
Details should be available in the next few days.
All the staff will be from a motorsort background so speedy turnaround will be the key to make the rates competitive.
