  2. A couple of new items just in today £85 pair
  3. Agreed a deal today on new premises 2000 sq ft workshop and 1000 sq ft storage plus showroom, only downside can't get in until first week of Nov. Nice easy access straight off the A19.
  4. You need to carry out a bedding in proceedure to get the best out of the pads. On a clear stretch of road take the car up to 70mph brake firmly but not aggressively down to 30mph drive 1/4 mile and repeat about 5 times then drive gently to allow the brakes to cool. At no point come to a complete rest with your foot still on the brake pedal.
  5. Use the pads, they are anti squeal shims and designed to reduce pad noise.
  6. Have a set in the workshop £50 delivered.
  7. Phil I want th efirst set with the black background. How do I order them? Just send me a PM and I will give you the details.

  11. It is standard practise to grease the edges you refer to. We always make sure the calliper faces in this area are cleaned as well as they do tend to get chocked with brake dust and reduce the tolerance between the pad and the calliper.
  12. Another thing worth checking is if the locator pins are clean. If these have corrosion or a build up of baked on dust on them then they cause the pad to vibrate on the piston face which is what causes the squealing.
  13. If you have had the car on track with the Ferodo it is advisable to pressure wash the brake area to loosen the dust build up. We have been using these pads for years and have no issues with squealing at all, give me a call and I will talk you through it. 07714457051
  14. We can supply a new wiper including the wing for £7.50 inc delivery. In stock can post out tommorow.
  15. list price is £195 plus VAT just for the unit. Just realised you are local to us, if you need any advise give me a call.
  16. It's a copy of the HKS exhaust and there have been many reported issues with the welds, paticularly on the headers which is not good as it is a pig of a job to do the headers and you don't want to be paying out twice if they fail. What you will spend on labour to fit the headers would be better spent on a good brand exhaust and forget the headers.
  17. It's not steel it's aluminium and it's £110 complete with the Samco joiners.
  18. I thought that too, I never had or need that adapter thingy Sorry guys but you have to use the adapter funnel impossible to fit without it as the MAF bolts directly to the back of it, the filter then fits to the ring and is secured by the large jubilee clip. http://jimwolftechnology.com/wolfpdf/PO ... NSTALL.PDF
  19. The adapter plates. What are they for? I don't remember using one of those.... Your MAF bolts to it and the filter then atatches to the plate with a large jubilee clip.
  20. The rears do tend to wear quicker on the inside.
  21. Met up with Kevin at Envy today and had a spin out in his car. As most of you know already it has, amongst other things, the Power Enterprise twin turbo kit on it. I have to say I was very impressed with the performance of the car and the power delivery on the road makes a very punchy difference without losing any of the original character. The car still has that very torquey feel about it just with the extra grunt we probably all feel sometimes lacking. The main plus is that the delivery is so smooth and linear it is very easy to use and feels ideal for track use. The only gripe I would have, and it really is purely an aesthetic one, is the finish on the pipework which takes away some of the visual impact, obviously why Kevin is considering having the pipework chromed, as he has mentioned in another thread. My honest opinion is that the kit represents very good value for money. Cheers Kevin, nce to chat.
