  1. Turbo problems leading to other problems leading to sh*t loads of money being thrown at them! Best bit of advice iwhen modding one is ditch the twin turbos & go for one large turbo, seems to be the route with most twin turbo jap- mobiles these days.

can I ask if that is based on personal experience? I was in teh supra scene for a few years with an mk4 and there were never ANY single failures appart from on **** poorly modded Jap imports (ceramic impellers).

Also the only supras that ever had problems were the MK3's that used to blow head gaskets for fun.

  2. why be ashamed at the age of it? Good things dont need to be new. I'm running on an engine thats almost 50 years old bar a few upgrades and it is still one of the best engines there is.

There is a great thread on pistonheads about the Hemi in the Wards list -> http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/to ... 335568&h=0

in fact that goes into a great discussion on the so called yank v8 guzzlers, well worth a read based on ignorance and facts.

  3. I read that in the paper on a plane coming back from London today, where I was hemmed in by an enormous woman sat next to me. I kept waiting after I read it, but she didn't strike a light! :D

I used to always try and get a door exit to guarantee not to get stuck between some 2000lb chickaboo and some 3000lb autistic savant. However on a sad few occasions I found myself in said situations which is a real pisser when you want to go to the toilet if only to get away from the stench. They should be charged for 2 seats as I'VE PAID FOR THAT BASTARD ARMREST AND WHAT **** IS YOUR BELLY DOING ON MY THIGH YOU FAT SWEATY AMERICAN MILF

Mother I'd like to fcukin throw off the plane.

  4. suppose they should have badged it as a "Infiniti" made car not a Nissan, might have made a big difference perhaps ?

either way it's a awesome car that is still respected on the road B)

    its what toyota do

  5. sorry to boing such an old old thread but...

...when I turned up at a firends house in my old Zed her sister was getting all excited and moist at the look of it. She then had a close look, saw it was a nissan and came walking back, huffed and just shrugged it off.

Amazing what effect a badge can have...
