  1. Normally I'd be interested but I'll be in Manchester Sunday nursing the hangover from hell. What you celebrating Digsy? 40th birthday
  2. Sarnie

    Metro!!!

You'd be silly to offer anything for that
  3. Down to one car now And yes, there is always a plan in place It may involve a car with 3 letters in its name And no, its not a KIA
  4. The guys name is Rich and can be contacted at info@parabolique.co.uk Costings will depend on time and location etc. Im sending him the url to this thread and this site so be nice to him guys and stop spamming my thread!!!!
  5. I will put up the guys details in a bit, just waiting for his permission to do so Your right about family, it has to come first, as much as its killing me to do it
  6. Cheers for the comments guys. The G is going tomorrow i think, depends on the when the buyer can raise the funds. I don't have a replacement for it as yet, I need to use the funds for family reasons. I don't envisage being back in a decent car for about 9-12 months or so Anyway, here are a few other pics that he sent that he hasn't 'worked' on as much as the initial pics:
  7. If your offended by Gallardo pictures, click away now As my bundle of orange joy is on its way this week ( ) I wanted to get some quality pictures of my car done. I got in touch with a pro photographer from Pistonheads, who came up from London. If anyone wants his details then just let me know. Here are a few out of the 100 or so he sent me today:

    GT-R

The thing is, the great uk price for us is going to drive JDM prices down from the outset. This means that JDM GT-R's may still be an attractive propostion in 12 months time. I'd still consider one at about £40k over a uk car
  9. Could it be that the AA don't like to recommend buying modded cars incase any of the mods contribute to a fault after purchase? Either way its utter bollocks. Varying thicknesses of paint could be down anything, new cars have been known to differing levels of paint thickness. It could also be down to some over eager detailing with a rotary doodah I'd wanna kick the AA guys head in
  10. There's no escaping the fact that the GT pack considerably helps when selling and also improves residuals. The big question though, is how much of the £2500 cost do you actually get back when you sell? Whatever % you lose from the initial cost of the car will also apply to the £2500 Therefore if a £30k non GT maybe be worth £15k in 4 years time a GT pack car would be about £16,250. Well, thats how I would view it if I was purchasing a zed.
  11. I've only seen the trailors for this film and it looks like the worst film in the history of man kind. Just a gratuitous extention of the Rambo series prurely to make money just like the latest Rocky film. When will Sly realise that he's past it now I'd rather apologise to the OC mods than watch this film
  12. so Porsche will end up with a stake in Lamborghini??? seems very bizarre, the motoring industry, how can one company own another without a conflict of interests Imagine Man Utd buying Liverpool and then selling all their players???

    GT-R

The black edition has the smoke grey rims which are unavailable on the other two editions. I can't see any other additions to make the black edition worth the extra £1300 One interesting bit is this Six stage paint with double clear coat providing chip resistant paint in critical areas. Have they finally sorted this out then !?!? I'd be pi**ed if I bought a GT-R for it to be peppered in stone chips after a while 71 litre tank is smaller than the zeds isn't it? 71 litres in a beast like that is gonna be like running my gallardo, sub 200 miles per tank. Infact I think the G's is 80 litres!! Plenty of petrol station trips ahead then..........
  14. Looks a decent car and a decent price I'm sure there was someone on here looking for a GM car for around that price?

    GT-R

Test drive booking time Exeter is the nearest to me and thats about a 2.5 hour drive away None in the midlands either!!!!!!!!! Whats the difference between the 3 editions?
  16. Shine a light - just did some quick maths !! For me thats 65 each way = 130 miles = £40 per day x 5 = £200 per week!! Current cost per week in Diesel about £81 I think I defo need to get my VW van also and use that a few times a week!! It doesn't work out quite like that. I used to do 500 miles a week in mine which would be a tank and a half, which was just less than £100 per week at the time. £200 is way off

£100 to paint Random question - whats the paint code for GM on an 2003 car? I need to get my mate at Halfrauds to make some up but being lazy to goto the car park and find it on the car. I think Silverstone in the US is the same colour? Paint code it: 06/WA983L Where did you get that from? UK codes here: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... paint+code
