  1. The saturday night before the last spring drive out:
  2. I just did this test. With my GIRLFRIEND sitting next to me I hasten to add, and scored 40%
  3. Just a deluded, misinformed seller selling stuff off a mysteriously written off zed. Would you buy an exhaust off a written off car? He reckons it was written off due to the fact it had Nismo S-Tune stuff on it and was therefore too expensive to replace but the only things he's got to sell is an exhaust that he has no idea what it is, a halfords spoiler and a few badges
  4. I thought they did take a % but that link says that they charge 1% upto £3500 and £35 thereafter. Tim is saying to mail the highest bidder before the end of the auction and work out a deal and end the auction early
  5. But he has put a Nismo emblem on the floor next to it? Surely that makes it a Nismo?
  6. Sorry dude, found it now: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/motorfees.html £8 listing fee and £35 final sale fee if you sell it for over £3500
  7. http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/ww ... x_mileage= How much???????????
  8. I like to hold down the horn constantly too
  9. What kinda like a disguise? I like it
  10. He had sunset import with nismo wing, TSW rims and nismo exhaust but struggled to sell which imo was down to the mods and colour I really hope yours sells, where have you got it advertised? I sold both my zeds on eBay
  11. Cool, sounds good I'm like that too, very impulsive! I only wondered into the lambo dealers for a nose and then WHAM two weeks later I'm in one One thing I would add is, have you seen the problems Newseller had/is having with selling his car that is very similar to yours?
  12. All you can go by is past performance. If this was a Porsche you would buy one safe in the knoweldge that when you take it to them that they are experencied in dealing with the car or similar. The GT-R is a ground braking car and they will need to have ground braking aftersales systems, training and support to attract back people they have scared away. The car is an unknown quatity and will have teething problems like all marques. The proof will be in the pudding when the car is taken back to them after purchase.
  13. Bloody hell £1250 in a few days!! i take it you've found another car then?
  14. And we all know Nissan's service record to date is shite! Why would a GT-R be any different? It will still be the same idiots providing the service but just reading out of a different manual and using different equipment. If you pay a lot of money for a car and a lot for its servicing you expect a lot in return from the dealer. Nissan have done nothing in the 5 years since the zeds launch to istill any faith in me that they are going to be any more competent at dealing with the GT-R. Think shocking customer service, parts on back order from Japan for weeks or even months and the fact that we as owners will probably know more about the car than the dealer.
  15. Like some of the other guys have said for that money there is a lot of other metal around - I mean you can get a 200mph Bently Continental GT on an 05 plate for that money - I mean its really a no brainer unless you really must have the GT - R? +1 The higher the price is on its uk release the less appealing it is. I wouldn't buy it for it being the fastest thing around but because its the fastest thing around AND its fantastic value for money. £60k+ and this appeal reduces significantly for me.
  16. I'm thinking along the same lines as you. When i say a £40k I also mean a 12 months old car with 5-6k on the clock, delimited with any warranty issues remedied by that time, hopefully. I reckon approx £40-45k OTR is a realistic figure to be paying for a 12 month old JDM import this time next year. The uk market will inevitably then be flooded with imports, like the zed, which will kill uk car prices. As with most cars, once you drive it off the forecourt you've lost 10-15%......
  17. i don't think it will, not with plenty of 12 month old imports to choose from this time next year. Should be able to get one for less than 40k this time next year.
  18. But the 55k version is likely to be 60-65k+ with any V-spec an extra £20k according to Autocar putting it firmly in Porker price range. I love the car but hate being in the UK and getting totally shafted on price
  19. That's because your an attention seeking TART Not in my A3 or the Bora I'm not
  20. I have a feeling they are going to spring an ugly suprise on us e.g £65k+ Why would they want/need to wait to release UK prices? At £55k its a great car, the more it creeps up, the less impressive it is imo
  21. I ALWAYS have my lights on, in every car I drive.
  22. Think the speed limiter is still an issue. A company has apparently released a replacement (expensive) ECU for it which will work around it but its the only option at the mo True. Were yet to see that car flat out yet e.g 120 mph+ I reckon in 12 months time a new uk one will be £60k+ and an import will be less than £40k even if its 12 months old. In that time I'd expect all importing issues like the limiter to be solved. I know where my money will be going in 12 months......
