  1. Sorted those now, got the tint film off wow, that is as nice a cayman as I've ever seen
  2. Me neither, I sold my UY GT4 or £26k seems like ages ago now!
  3. I've been through this. Someone drove into the Gallardo, was a tiny tiny scratch to the rear quarter. The lambo dealership recommended Accident Exchange. My incident was at 5pm, by 9am the next day a Ferrari 430 was on my drive courtesy of AE at a cost of £1100 a day I had the 430 for 35 days and the total bill was £52k From the outset I said I would only proceed if I was totally unresponsible for the costs of the hire car. I did have to sign a credit hire agreement for the 430 but AE said that I could take out an insurance policy for £10 that would indemnify me from being pursued for the costs should they not be able to recover the costs from the other parties insurance. I ensured that they sent me written confirmation that I would not be chased for costs. It was pretty stressul to be fair and took over two years to resolve! I had to send in a load of bank statements etc like they have asked you for. I had the money to pay for the hire car but my arguement was 'why should I pay for a hire car, for a no fault accident? thats what insurance is for!' They even wanted me to justify why I had a 430 and I just told them that I fully expected a like-for-like car, the gallardo cost me £87k, why should I be without it for 35 days through no fault of my own??? It seems clear that the insurance company have not been able to recover the costs and are now pursuing you for it, do you have copies of anything you signed?
  4. £450K they paid for that, i've watched a video of the actual auction.....
  5. I'm suprised it hasn't sold to be honest, but to be fair to my mate, he is not desperate to sell so we haven't really pushed it, its only been listed on here and PH for a week or soo thats it....
  6. some pretty pointless comments from people on here about mileage...... It is what it is. I can understand posts if the price wasn't reflected by the mileage, but it is. nice car, good luck with the sale!
  7. Had a crap day today but that really brought a smile to my face. What a lovely moment and thanks for sharing it with us . Pete Cheers Pete ......actually she actually cried for a rather inordinate length of time.......to the point where folk walking passed were giving me funny looks must of thought I was breaking up with her! maybe she didn't want an mx-5??
  8. Have you seen my for sale post?? It's in brum too..............
  9. +1 Take a written copy of the most expensive quote you have to him and ask him to pay it, any quibbles then go through the insurance immediately. I'd want a new bumper, just think about when your trying to sell the car and people are noticing the repair work and walking away.....
  10. I'd have a black or white one but none of the colours inbetween......
  11. Things that (most) women like: Sparkly things Expensive things Romantic things Thoughtful things Being pampered Posh Hotels Nice restaurants Clothes Perfumes Flowers Times when you have to buy presents: Birthdays Xmas Valentines Day Anniversay Mothers Day (**** me no wonder I'm broke!) The key to buying the right present is ensuring you buy the right present for the right occasion. Flowers at xmas wouldn't go down well but are great on Valentines etc. Most women don't just want something that costs loads. They want to see that you have listened to them ( ) and that you have applied that knowledge and bought something that they really need/want. One area to avoid is to buy them a household appliance such as a vacumm, iron, washing machine etc

  13. I've never noticed the difference in the bumper reflectors before
  14. If you think you're losing money on a car, you might see 10%+ taken off house prices next year alone, which on an average house will be more than what your car is worth...........you could end up with a property in negative equity and if you struggle to rent it out you'll have to pay two mortgages.......it's not all a bed of roses
