  1. Yep, worry not mate. The aircon does make a very noisy click when it kicks in, if its just once & shuts up don't worry - they all do that
  2. But its signs of sychros going mate, I wouldn't be leaving it if it were me, especially if you're under warranty
  3. Good to see you finally admit it
  4. Aren't those the wheels that are similar to GT4 but not the same - standard fit on US cars IIRC too. Was mentioned on a thread not that long ago but can't find it on searches - too many matches. TheMinel knows I'm sure
  5. Heard this on the way into work this morning, well shocked. Hope he makes a full recovery soon
  6. Yep, had it and it was really bad - I've had the pedal replaced under warranty as they couldn't lubricate the noise away. May be worth a trip to the dealer mate.
  7. True, mine is still noisy but nowhere near as bad as it was - it was shockingly noisy at standstill. You're right about the clutch too, they won't replace the cover or plate but just replace the bearing.
  8. Still thinking they're trying to fob you off mate. I've had my axles, release bearing, squeeky clutch pedal and a couple of minor other bits done there. They seem pretty happy in carrying out warranty work mate, might be worth a drive up there (if you need directions PM me), but book it in cos they'll need to check it out first and get Nissan go ahead, which they always seem to have done within a day for me As far as the girls go - the one in the middle is my missus. They did a very poor job though and got the car covered in baby oil too, so I had bum & leg prints all over the doors and bonnet. Obviously I didn't wash em off for over 2 weeks tho - brilliant
  9. Mate you must spend your life on ebay! Great spot thanks for that. It says its got a couple of scratches on but it looks ok in the pics. Figure if I can get it cheap its worth a punt (God I'm sounding like Tim!!!). Chris - I may still be interested if I don't get this or its in poor condition so if you could still shout up when you've a min that'd be good!!
  10. Sounds like they're taking the p*** to me mate. Yep it is a bit noisy but there is also a TSB out there for the clutch release bearing - mine has been done by Lythgoe's in Bolton. If you like I'm happy to meet you and put em side by side, if it sounds the same its usual if not then you can always pop up to Bolton to have it done EDIT: forgot to say, Lythgoe's are quite happy to sort a car for you if its in, just don't be expecting anything much - I had a Grande Punto last time, what a piece of s***
  11. Do you require the entire strut bar panel (silver part) - if so, yes we can get this all I need is the actual Z, how much is it for the strut bar panel? Just checked this thread out again Chris as its just popped up on unreads, can you still source these (the panel - silver part), if so how much? Cheers

Lookin mate, spraying of the sills is inspired!!!
  13. Sarnie mate I'm absolutely gutted for you, mindless c**ks is far too easy going. I'm only surprised your rant didn't go on for far far longer. Bring back hanging, drawing and quartering for these t***s, problem is though they're rarely caught. Hope you can get her back to normal soon mate
  14. Cheers mate..... Mexico...... so far. There is a slight concern still that might have to cancel due to family issues, but so far we still going. Here's to hoping as god I need a holiday! You have PM mate. Hope you get away, Mexico's awesome, enjoy it if you do mate
  15. Lookin well Ming! What about the bolts on the plenum etc are they getting the "treatment" too?
  16. Big balloon payment is the key!! Yes but I want to own the car outright at the end of the term and not have a big balloon payment at the end. Doing that would mean cheaper monthly payments but I would be in same situation again when I come to sell my zed ie no equity in the car. Even if my car is only worth £10k in 3 years, thats £10k I can put towards another car Im with you, id never do finance through a dealership, id rather get a loan out and spread that over 3/4 years and have higher monthly payments. However i can see why its a great idea for people who prefer doing it the other way round, also using their car as a trade in and getting a similar new one after the deal is up. I took out a personal loan for mine instead of HP which mean't I was able to sell my old kuro without any HP worries. Just used the cash from the sale to buy the UY. It also means that I could ( If I really wanted/needed to) sell my car for say £23-£24k and stick all the money in the bank. Obviously I would have to keep up the repayments but I'm doing that now anyway Quite true. I've worked mine on the basis that whatever I have next I'm just going to chop her in at the garage. I know its not the best way of doing it but it does save a lot of hassle which to me is important. Plus I'm not going to have this car at the end of the term so the balloon isn't a worry to me.
  17. Big balloon payment is the key!!
  18. nixy! Go on do it, you won't regret it (wise words from Mike too!)
  19. Great question (and decent answer Sarnie!), I'll back up what Sarnie said - although my finance is MUCH cheaper but I pay double the insurance. Mine's a daily driver, I sometimes think that she's costing me far too much but then I nip out somewhere and I think sod it, its only money and its not like I would actually save it if I bought something cheaper - I'd only spend it on something else so may as well have a big on my face rather than drive a mundane car.
  20. In fairness you didn't say hello to us either
  21. http://www.allapprovedcars.com/Used-Toy ... tails.aspx Not mine, but a friend of mine who's looking to sell as quickly as poss. Its up at 28.5k but I think he'd be more than willing to look at sensible offers. I make no comment as to whether the price is right or not or anything else in all honesty (cos I know nothing bout these!!) but he needs to sell so I said I'd post here on the offchance. If you are interested PM me and I'll give you his number 19/9 - SOLD
  22. Glad that they'll honour it for you if you decide to go down that route mate And, do you just spend your whole time looking at model sites??? (not that I'm complaining!!)
  23. Got mine over the weekend - does a crackin job & decent quality - nice one Tim
  24. Your zed sounds lovely Just needs a little TLC mate , waiting for a front end respray, prob beginning of the year then she'll be again
