What end up as smouldering rubble??? changed tack on speeding have we Sarnie?? Nah mate I was just laughing at his response to you, if you read the quote I replied to. Ha ha, I know where you're coming from Tim!!!!!
  3. Trouble is the standard Rays are 6 spoke, I love the Nismo's tho Mrcofpep, the Nismo kit was all done by Nissan although I do believe it's a completely different front bumper I think the rest is bolt on. really? I saw these on one the other day and loved them... Not standards mate, they're GT4 wheels
  4. Ming you're a star mate I really appreciate your input
  5. Thanks Dorian, I don't think that the car in question had VASCAR. I did ask our mythical person but they were convinced there wasn't VASCAR?????
  6. Well this is the thing, I'm pretty sure that it would need to have been off timing marks as there isn't a set distance between the bridges. I'm not sure what other equipment they had (although see below)
  7. ....following on from your reasonably recent offer of "assistance"/questions in the legal sense, whats your thoughts on this one mate: Lets assume that someone was going down the motorway, there was traffic around them but not loads. Lets say that they accelerated to pass some traffic in order to come off at the next slip road as they didn't know where they were going so didn't know that the junction was coming up (had obviously missed/not realised at earlier signs). They didn't cut anyone up or cross straight over 2 lanes of road or do anything else dangerous whatsoever. When they exited the motorway they realised that they were being followed by the Police who continued following for around 1mile. Lets further assume that the Police then pulled them and said that they had been speeding on the motorway at around 96mph. Lets then assume that the Police said that they had clocked his speed by timing him between the bridges, however at the time they were some distance behind (lets assume a distance of around 5 cars). I'm not sure if in this scenario there were any cars in between the 2 but I'd suggest there were. Lets finally assume that the person in question has received a court summons and is a little worried. Whats your thoughts mate? Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated (obviously this isn't a specific case its mearly a made up scenario). PS I hasten to add that the scenario is not based on myself.

  12. Come on, bout time you 2 got rid of your frustrations
  13. LOL , mine had done 10k still ended up in the bin, better the tyres than the car I think that over-eggs it Tim, the tyres may not be the best in the wet but there are in no way dangerous. Its simply a matter of driving with their limitations (if you believe they have them) in mind. When I got my S/C, the 18" could not hold the power for sure and Toyos on 19" are much improved but NA I never really recall having an issue No honestly Dorian , I firmly believe that the Bridgestones are a dangerous tyre for the UK market, I'm sure they will be fine for warmer climes than ours... where heat is already in the tyre.. Saying that if you just pottle along there will be no issues I'm with you Tim, definately a tyre not for the UK. Even the tyre fitter who was putting on my Falks said that the Stones are pretty much useless until you get some heat into them - not much use in the rain/cold/snow
  14. Hope "the room" has already been booked for numbers 4 & 13

  19. I let my missus drive it all the time, she's actually a really good driver, and I hate to admit it but if she has kerbed it I won't be able to tell cos I've made such a state of the wheels anyway (I have got a very good excuse, apart from being a mong). I think though it would be better to leave her at home cos otherwise I'm only going to get told off all day, I can imagine what its going to be like and I don't think she'd be a big fan of those winding roads and a slightly heavy right foot.
  20. What did he get off with in the end? What was it? Less than 4 months served out of a 15month sentence for virtually killing someone, f*****g ridiculous
