  6. No mate sorry, it was just a fly up Sunday night, with a client all day monday then fly back Monday night.... or of course I would have done fella!

    What are they?

I'd say you're bang on the money, Louis. Yeah and the ones on the blue car (side on) are Volk GT-7s which I nearly bought..... nice.
  8. had standard (original base) wheels on. Think it was a 53 or 54 plate.... About 8:20am in the traffic jam. I was in a private hire cab
  9. I've had loads of netgears and they always been good, but you do have to pick the right one as mentioned.... http://www.netgear.co.uk/wireless_modem_router_dg834pn.php I use this one every day as work from home quite a lot as well, but you need to get corresponding Rangemax cards to get best out of it. The netgear stuff now is really easy to setup as well, can only talk for this one the DG834PN but its been very stable...... Also one thing to remember is does depend how good your ISP is as well, a lot of the times you make have a perfectly good wireless signal, but the actually link to your exchange/ISP problems is why you are getting crap connections etc.....
  10. Yep and standard Nissan gaskets fit I believe..... but TDi know as they fitted mine.
  11. To be fair though, a lot of the looks can be improved with rubbing down the tips of the exhaust with Autosol. Works wonders....... but won't change the sound!
  12. I've never had a problem with droning on the motorway....... I do a fair bit of motorway miles (and how often do you actually sit at 70/80 for long periods anyway!). Always found it to be fine. Its loud system, but transforms the car into sounding like a proper big engined beast at low revs with a deep growl, then turns into a nice rasp at higher revs..... To be honest I love the sound of it. For £500 i'd be wanting a perfect and immaculate system though and check the gaskets as depending on how long been on the car, these can need replacing.....
  13. Glad to see you got rid of her easily enough mate..... good that you pleased with the deal. But the new owner got a stunner! Keep in touch mate
  14. Thanks Martin, Mine arrived yesterday afternoon..... now that I've straightened out after my lazy arsed postie couldn't even be bothered knocking on door, and tried to bend it...... Looks great. Thanks for all your hard work mate

    Anthracite Alloys

I'd either powercoat or just take them somewhere else for painting..... I mean, Diamond Wheels also do painting mate!
  16. Good luck with the RS4...... (just slightly jealous!).... Top car.... sure you'll enjoy it!
  17. Yup! Look here for pics.... http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11220&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=30
  18. Well if it is 8" wheels on the back, then I'd be kicking off on the basis that they have sold a car that is not up to specification and potenitally unsafe! I know its not much, but they have 245 rear tyres for a reason! let us know.....
  19. Twlight grey is a much ligher colour than GM, but darker than the old Blade silver...... a sort of nice undercoat colour!
  20. In my experience West Way Nissan the group are crap and extorninate for pricing..... Therefore make sure you find a smaller more customer focused dealer to do all your aftercare. It should NOT matter than you didn't buy from them..... I bought from West Way manchester and their servicing costs laughed me out of the building into a smaller Nissan dealership! But at least you got your car back. Agree with Chris. Write to West Way MD and also Nissan GB MD and demand a response and that you are keeping 2300+ other Nissan owners up to speed.....
  21. Think if you speak to Zedrush on here, he's doing the same thing with Brides.... he'll be here soon. He can't resist! Also it has been done, Adam from Z1 Auto or Bigphil should be able to help..... sure one of them will respond shortly....
  22. You're not too far from me Jacko, which one have you found to be the best in the North West? I've only tried Chorley Nissan in Wigan up to now. I went to them on 15th December to diagnose an exhaust problem, turns out I needed a new back box but they couldn't get one in until 16th January! Maybe its Nissan GB who need to start stocking more parts? Andy, best I've found is Lockwood and Greenwood in Ashton Under Lyne (J23 M60).... they been going for years and remember what customer service is and have always price matched the Chorley group on price. To be fair a lot of the guys here use the Chorley group both in Wigan and Bolton so they get good reviews and competitive, so maybe you were just unlucky! I wouldn't trust West Way (any of them) as far as I could throw my own legs for after sales care...... AND they rediculous on price....... And Stan, I had the same experience with WW Rochdale as I "disturbed" them during the football one time....... and had to tell them about the car. Useless! BTW, I'm in next town over from Bury so keep your eye out of me at Heap Bridge roundabout making a racket ....
  23. Guys thats the G35 from Infiniti. Infiniti are Nissan's sporting premium brand in North America. They are actually coming to the UK in 2009 with the new G37 coupe..... They use the same range of engine as the 350z which is obviously still available in NA. The new G37s going to have 3.7litre though.....
