  1. Yeah they broke my heart taking them off and having them sitting in my garage! Want to find a good home for them.....
  2. I've got a feeling that may be mine? Jotun if you want to PM me the registration I'll tell you if it's mine as I've just got rid of it? Can give you all the background etc on the car if it is! I hope it is, as would love it to go to a good home!
  3. Guys & Gals, For those that don't know, I've recently sold my zed therefore my lovely Racing Hart wheels are up for sale. They are original Racing Hart RS721s wheels in silver with 4x relatively new Falken FK452s on all around that I imported from Adam at Z1 Auto last year. 19" x 9" front with +26 offset 19" x 10" rear with +22 offset They also come with "gorilla" type locking nuts all around, that is each nut needs a special key of which I have two (as I purchased a spare). Additionally they'll come with some nice shiney Racing Hart valve caps which have never been on the car. The wheels have only been on my car for a total of 9 months over the last two summers so have never been near our winter, as I put the Rays back on each summer before the weather got bad. They've been looked after and cleaned regulary with quality products. Needless to say as they took me ages to work out sizes and get the right fitment, they look fantastic on the Zed. See here for how they look on the car without any lowering or spacers etc. http://s94.photobucket.com/albums/l84/Jacko350z/Racing%20Harts%20Fitted/ Unfortunately I have chipped two of the wheels recently (small chips) before they came off the car and one of the fronts has a kerb on the edge of the rim, therefore price will be reduced accordingly. But they can be repaired as I checked before I purchased them. Here are the wheels now, waiting to be sold to some lucky owner to make his/her Zed look great I've also included pictures of each wheel so you can see the condition and the tyres so you can see the remaining tread (of which there is plenty) http://s94.photobucket.com/albums/l84/Jacko350z/350z%20Bits%20for%20Sale/ Anyway anyone interested PM me and we can discuss prices. Please be aware that these are not "cheap" wheels, cost me a fair packet (which I will divulge to anyone interested) and therefore won't be going for silly prices but am open to discussion within reason on price.... Don't worry if I don't get back to you straight away, I'll be away on business over the next couple of days so access to internet will be limited, but will get back to you asap! Jacko
  4. Thanks chaps, Great advice...... I won't bother asking anymore until I know whether its going to come off..... But would be well up for giving it a go for a few months!
  5. I've got exactly one of those for sale that I bought through Holdcroft for sale..... It's like new. Let me know if you interested, PM me
  6. Were you there on work Martin or just holiday? How long were you there for?? Guessing you implying about the "pet food" thing with menu's?
  7. Ah I remember now...... good to see you made it here mate!
  8. Dear all, Just wondering if anyone here has either been to Seoul on vacation or even better worked/lived there? There is a slim chance that I may be asked if I want to go work there for a few months, so anyone with any relevant input would be helpful? Not guaranteed its going to happen yet, or that I'll go for the opportunity but just trying to have as much balanced info as I can..... But could be a good for some "life experience" So has anyone been there, what were your thoughts etc...... ?
  9. Yeah it was a night blue as well!
  10. Hi there! Just saw this post and didn't realise there was another Zed in Heywood! I've just got rid of mine...... But it was a Azure coupe.... What you got?
  11. No its the special edition Sprint Blue, you can only get it on TTS's not bog standard TTs so should be pretty rare. Only other time you'll see it is on the RS4/S5s.... Anyway Trim your own!
  12. Thanks Chris... nice for you to say that. I have to admit that I've loved all of it (well most of it ) Been great being part of this team and I'm going to miss being a "proper" member, I'm now just one of those geezers who hangs around! ha ha Good to know though that Dave will do such a great job on the Wales run after last time! Thanks to all for the kind words..... and even Sarnie comes out with something nice, I'm shocked! mate, you were more than welcome. It took me so long to get my head around all that wheel malarkey that was just happy to pass on something I'd actually learnt from here! Anyway, the Zed went in trade in (which hurt a lot!) but I'd decided to cut my losses. As for what's replaced her, sure a few of you will be disappointed (hence the hairdresser jokes) but here she is..... New Audi TTS Roadster: http://s94.photobucket.com/albums/l84/Jacko350z/Audi%20TTS%20Roadster/ Obviously she's very different from the Zed..... , quick once she's on boost (which is taking a little getting used to after a big normally aspirated engine). She grips like a monkey around the corners due to the quattro though so you can chuck in and stick your boot down.... but I do miss the corner drifting and ooooooh how much I miss the sound of my big V6 with that sports exhaust! But I am liking her so far, its a very nice place to be and with 272BHP she's pretty quick as well, especially as lot lighter than the zed. But fancied another roadster..... was going to wait for the 370z but just can't justify the size of the engine at the mo! Anyway let the abuse begin no doubt ha ha
  13. Kinda yeah. You can do both kinda with either method, just needs less / more effort accordingly. What was the advice? Well I was asking about whether to go with the "blue velvet" wax or stick with the generic rain forest. But the blue is orientated towards darker blues so with my new car being a lighter mid blue, could be a bit risker.... so best to stick with the Rain forest, seeing as doing by hand. Also the lime prime product is effectively the paint cleanser/polish combined into one, and the lime prime lite is the same without the "slight abrasive compounds" in it therefore not as much "polish" action.... But I'll use up my Meguiars 3 step stuff and claybar products before I go to that..... otherwise just a waste
  14. One further point..... Soft waxes are applied by hand. Hard waxes really need an applicator.... Just spoke to them at R222 shop as they stock as well. Good advice actually
  15. So for an Azure blue (or similar) what colour is the right Dodo juice to use? I may give it a whirl this stuff? Time to try something new! I've been using the Meguairs tech wax for ages, then Mike suggested the R222 stuff which I was about to try but might try this.... Take it that its easy to get on and off. Can't be arsed with anything that is like wiping off treacle!
  16. Hi all, Well some of the guys on here already know but I've sold my Zed! I'd been thinking about it for a while and in the end decided to do it for a number of reasons. Was holding on for the new 370z but in the end decided against it (well for now anyway! ) Loved that car sooooo much and it was without doubt the most fun car I've EVER had! Anyway I get too emotional just wanted to let you all know. I've not been around here as much recently as I would like with work etc but some of the more original members will know how much effort I put into this place and my car! I'm happy how much of a success that the Wales drives have turned out to be, that being my "baby" Anyway, I won't be disappearing completely, will pop on now and again But for those that after a bargain, I'll being selling some of my mods soon.... These will be Racing Hart 19" Rs721 wheels (Only summer wheels with relatively new Falken 452s all round) LED rear lights Nissan Original Boot Carpet (for coupe) Nissan Original Storage net Anodised Blue metal oil cap with logo Will put more details on in for sale posts soon with pictures...... but for now anyone wanting to see the (nicest) wheels see here: http://s94.photobucket.com/albums/l84/Jacko350z/Racing%20Harts%20Fitted/ http://s94.photobucket.com/albums/l84/Jacko350z/New%20Wheels/
  17. £30 all around with the Supertracker system..... From DP Tyres in Wigan. Darren there is a top bloke!
  18. Good to see a few of you last night! Thanks to Stan for organising, especially in a big open car park with no kerbs what so ever, so could arrive with a bit of impromptu drifting ha ha (was pleased with the nice big black lines I left).... And thanks for the donuts, after my third in total I thought my teeth were falling out! Love that Interlagos Fire colour..... its beautitful!! Sorry had to leave so in a rush.... had a few things I needed to do. Glad Chris liked his welcome, couldn't resist the childish humour. And watch it Digsy! At least I turned up and didn't go to Boyzone or whatever it was!
  19. I'll still be there...... see you later chaps.... Will have to give the car a rush clean, as a trip to the North East yesterday covered it in more crap!
  20. I'm always on that roundabout..... (well not always, but just when I have to use it) as only live 2 miles away so come off there all the time.... Never seen another Zed on it once....
  21. Stuey, Just seen this now..... sorry to see the car go mate! Not good at all But hope you got a good deal, seems like someone else did!
  22. Yeah that works for me, as long as I'm not working away..... so a Thurs night or Friday would work, just depends with luck on work.... But like the idea, its light till quite late now, so would work well
  23. how do you know your plate isn't straight and your car is wonky His car will be wonky now after getting "buzzed" on a low flying car pass by me and Mike and on the Evo triangle! Oh and his ears are probably bleeding!
  24. Bigphil's K1 - £350 without Y-pipe and it'll upset the neighbours. Job done. Yep, that's next for me..... make's my DC sound quiet! I'm not happy
