Welcome from me too and if you havn't got one of the adapter's go back to the dealer and insist he provides it to you - they were standard fitting on 56 ZEDS and a lot get taken out and sold separately for upwards of £75 Where are you based? - only that I saw a black 56 plate ZED this afternoon heading towards Wilsons in Epsom.

must be an open loop thing , maybe its to do with the dual intakes ? more air/ more petrol til the ecu picks up the sensors +1 - that's along the lines of what I was saying and the therefore the extra (cold) airflow puts the revs up that bit more

I guess this down to the ECU - once the various sensors kick in everything then levels out - rather like some who experience extra power when driving off from cold - until the air/petrol mixture gets told the right ratio?

Sorry to hear of your drive problems. The 'solution' below has worked for others - it will involve some shuttering, hardcore and concrete to create the raised and more gradually curved profile but if it helps.........
