  1. You're kidding! If someone supplies there own motorcycle parts to me and they are wrong or faulty it's their problem not mine. Very strange statement. No apparently your responsible, consumer rights law. If you exept the job and use the parts, apparently you have to stand by the work. I was a bit suprised myself but hey check it out.
  2. Really where did you get this information from? So you supply a set of spark plugs to us to fit and one of these plugs goes faulty , it is our problem? Maybe if they where fitted wrongly to cause damage to cause the problem but if they where fitted 100% correctly it isnt our peoblem as we didnt supply the spark plug. But if we supplied the part yes we would repace the part free of charge. If I remember correctly it was an article in aftermarket magazine and I agree it does seem a bit strange. However it is down to consumer rights and if you exept the job in effect you have to stand by it. Came across it as I get asked to do a lot of jobs on 2nd hand gear, and I was talking to a mate who owns a garage who had read the article.
  3. If anyone one supplies parts to garage and they fit them, it will be the garage's problem if the parts go faulty. This even applies if you were to give a garage a set of plugs to fit and later develop a missfire persay, it is still the garage's responsibility to replace them. Its the law. So even if you were to give Nissan an engine yourself, they would still be under obligation if a problem arrose. If Nissan are going to supplt an engine you will be fine.
  4. i dont really know as of yet....was given this by a fellow owner on here, sparky350z cheers m8,and i added the base trim but to begin with i was disapointed with the size / feel of it ,but it has grown on me a bit. was going to go for the dildo style drifter knob but this can up first.....oh misses Felt the same about my knob, bit thin at first but after a while it grew on me and I liked the weight of it.

    350z Spoiler

Bloody hell have you not fitted it yet I obviously looked at it when I first got it and did think it needed a bit of prep, more in the corners. The rest I thought would be ok smoothed and primed and smoothed again. Dont think it was too thin and the spoiler I actually fitted, although better quality out of the box, is no thicker.

  8. Looking forward to seeing the outcome, looks like a very professional job so far. Is going to be "ORANGE"?
  9. I see that the south bound side is opening today. North bound in a few days time. Really needs a bunch of zeds through it so I can have a listen to some zorsts.
  10. Only just come across your thread. Qudos for doing something different, not fan to be honest, not a lover of kits that look as though they have just been stuck on and not actually part of the car. I dont think the matt and shiny work together, one or other for me. Main thing is your happy and thats all that really matters. I know all about the marmite effect mate
  11. Congrats to you and the family A friend of mine moved out to Vancouver island a couple of years ago and absolutely loves it, he's not coming back. Another friend went out a few weeks ago to visit him and said it was stunning, so much space but doesn't think a zed is the ideal car out there
  12. Nice one mate, glad you got it open, can be a pig and I have had to cut panels in the past
  13. I've seen Wasso's as well and no disrespect but the paintwork was not good. If your going to do at all, do it properly which isn't cheap.
  14. No not alone but wtf are spark pulds?
  15. Try removing the switch panel and handle and see if you can hook a lever to pop the door.
  16. Had this ever since I fitted the nismo exhaust years ago, not true dual but same problem. Never have found the cause, no oil burn no spark pluds isuues etc etc. Car runs well so have given up worrying
  17. Totally agree, if your not stripping it completely I would keep it the same colour. If you don't whenever you open a door or boot etc you will see the difference and it will look horrible. You might get away with a bit of pearl though.
  18. Well done mate. Hope it goes through ok.
  19. I hope you dont want to meet at Halfords
