  1. They are not plastic but metal. So any decent body shop could paint them any colour you like. If done properly they should last as well as original silver paint.
  2. Fronts were easy, but I agree the rears are a bit ambiguous. Hopefully got it right but instructions should be clearer.
  3. Thanks for the reply, been reading about using a voltage meter to set the gain etc. Confusing as hell, seems to be a lot of different ways, will just have to experiment, as I don't seem to be able to get a definitive answer.
  4. Fitted mine last week and had it aligned today. I just took it that the rear was factory set also and just counted the number of turns I made to both shock and spring seat. Hope this helps, I had no knocking issues on the drive home and I know the rear springs had some preload. Think I need to play with the shock settings as it was a little jumpy on the front end, going to go a bit softer, other than that the ride was very good, seemed to ride average bumps/potholes better than before.
  5. These are available incase anyone has aftermarket black wheels.
  6. I have been given a rather nice new Kenwood dnx5220bt head unit. Nothing wrong with my current Alpine W200i. It was installed for me and I have been very happy with the sound, I have seperate mids and tweeters up front and a couple of 10" subs in the rear. When I fit the new unit do I use the high/low filters on the headunit or the amps or both?.
  7. Very nice write up can't type myself so it would take me all day to do that Hoping for similar results myself, finally getting it tracked up on Friday. First drive since xmas Glad your pleased with the results.
  8. Thats going to look sweet mate. Keep up the good work I think this is the same front end.
  9. Making some more progress as you can see, front end now built up. Still got a bit to do but fingers crossed, all finished next weekend.
  10. They were showing a genuine Chargespeed kit in stock when I was looking for mine. When I rang it was out of stock and would take 3 months, it was also advertised at the wrong price.
  11. You **** this is probably going to be expensive. I hate this site, cost me a fortune.
  12. That looks pretty good, I'd say price is about right aswell
  13. Am I the only one who thinks that you were smoked by a Daewoo Matiz Only joking. No but didn't want to be the first to say it. Never ever been overtaken by a Matiz
  14. Your have some fun fitting that lot mate. I found myself in the same position as yourself, had my car since new, and now going the same way.Such a good car couldn't think of anything I would want without spending a pretty penny. Now have an old shed for everyday use and I'll enjoy the Z on the weekends. Will have GTR one day though
  15. Had to cheese wire mine off, was really on there but as it was getting painted, didn't matter to much. Wouldn't fancy doing it without expecting to do some repair work.
  16. Good luck, but if you haven't done this before I would get the bodyshop thats painting it, to do the fitting. If you get it wrong it can make a nice kit look like a pile of poo.
  17. What kit is it? Are you just having a quick test to see what it looks like? or are you trying to do a full dry fit?
  18. VERY INTERESTING ...........in for the finish
  19. They are shite aren't they, now answer the bloody question
