I grew up in chav south central, on an estate. Doesn't mean I don't have any respect which I think is the chav point. The fact you own your house puts you in a certain %age of people in this country who have the ability to do that. And compare what you've got to some others in poorer countries. I think you'll find yourself pretty well off....... At the end of the day, the cost of one of these cars new is about equal to the average salary in this country.

You shouldn't get orange peel on a powdercoat Was that just normal paint? Trust me its powder coat. I collected it from the oven!!!!!!!!! I have been using this firm for three years now and it is a POWDER COATING firm!!!! Dependant on the powder used and the quality of the metal coated - look at the surface of your plenum - the surface COULD looked slightly rippled no matter what you use. All i can say is "Wait until you see it in the flesh!!!!!!!!" Ming the happy Hmmm, am now rethinking the powder coating route if there's the possibility of it not looking perfect. Just deciding on that final Kolor...... HINT.

Agree on the FQ 400 piece, a 340 can be equally as swift. As for the age of Evo's and their speed, it's not so much just about power, there's torque and traction to take into account, both of which have imrpoved massively, as has the delivery of the power. Either way, they're as quick as hell. And I agree on the calming down. Everyone has an opinion, that's what makes the world interesting! We're just one big happy family!

Buds, my Dad works in the trade, and gets his copy of Glass' guide every month. I read it thoroughly every month! As for traders and their mark up, why shouldn't they make a profit. For your investment of time each month you get a salary. They're the same, trying to cover their costs of warranty, insurance etc and make a profit. Personally any Zed under £20k has got to be seen as a bargain. For the perfromance and spec as a whole, it's streets ahead of anything. £35k + Porsches are beaten in all areas, as are over all the other German rivals. Why are we almost trying to drag the value of ourt cars down??

Why do you think the UK market is way over priced??? Considering a UK GT is £28k+, how many other 2 year old cars have the performance and spec of that car for UNDER £20k??? Everyone wants a bargain when they buy and car that doesn't depreciate when you sell!! Any lower than £17k, you're into Civic Type R territory (not even S2000!) and there's no competition there. So I disagree the market is overpriced......

Monitored tracker, take the odd fuse out (starter motor for example), wheel clamp it, electrify it.
