  1. OK, it is tyre time and as far as I can work out there are only a few brands / models of tyres that are matching sets... Toyo Proxes T1-R Michelin Pilot Sport Bridgestone RE-040 or 050 Continental Contact Sport 3 Falken FK452 Vredstein (somethings) Sure there are a couple of others I have missed...... I went to a local tyre supplier who races a bit and he asked why not the combination front to rear in the title. Having had a look on t'internet I can't see any obvious difference apart from a name. So, is this some branding thing? Or is there a mis match between these? Cheers......
  2. If he was that nice Andy, he'd give it to me AND fit it.....
  3. You need a degreaser before trying to use these though. Something like Gunk or Engine and Machine Cleaner will do that. Then it is polish for the painted bits, plastic dressing like these you list, metal cleaners / polishes where needs be. But you can't get a good finish without the first step....
  4. DBA4000's for the rear. CS has them, am sure other traders have their options as well
  5. Who was wondering Dan? No harm in putting an intro section up, even if not sure what the info is needed for.
  6. Roll of cling film for the electrical connections and air intakes AG Engine and Machine Cleaner Alloy wheel brush, old toothbrushes, Envy detailing brushes Hose with no attachment Wrap the connectors, and rinse. Spray cleaner generously, agitate with all sorts of brushes Rinse Repeat as needed Dry Make sure you start with a cold engine! That's a starter before then replacing bits and bobs for shiny / coloured / carbon stuff. If you just want to dress whats there, then AG Vinyl and Rubber Care bring the plastics up a treat
  7. Pretty much the same as a corporate without the red tape - who is behaving and providing support that we need on the team to improve the club for the members and enforce the rules that are in place, gets notcied and asked if they'd accept a role. Conversely, if someone had something to offer then people do contact us, hence meets organisers etc.
  8. On behalf of the team I would like to announce that Shire350z as now turned green thats because he is now a moderator. With the constant growth of the UK's No1 350Z club, and renewed focus in 2010 on our presence at shows and meets, we felt we needed more help with pushing this forward. James fits the bill perfectly with his obvious enthusiasm for the car and the forum and a regular on club meets and shows. Not to mention a very well modified Zed! Please give him time to get up to speed with the role, and join us in wishing him the best of luck in the team!
  9. I can't see what you've done there James. Can you point it out?
  10. What Chris said.... Silkolene Pro S is good, as is Millers. Both proper oils! Check out the Opie website for details and club discount
  11. A good qaulity CD will still wipe the floor with an MP3 just by the very nature of the compression. When you get into serious sounds you will hear the difference. Those using standard quality MP3 files you needn't bother getting a sub that goes much below 40Hz as the curve drops right off.
  12. Sorry to see this. But guess you won't be using one again!
  13. Can't remember the ohm rating, but they ain't normal. Input and output levels are all over the place! As for CDs vs. MP3 - I guess it depends how good your system is as to whether you can do without CDs......
  14. Biggest regret is not doing my modding earlier as I am now at the point where other things take up free cash. And I still haven't got the wheels and couple of other bits I really want....
  15. True, but I also have £5k of ICE! Yeah, with Chris Knott bud. It is garaged as well though Yep, ISTS will be getting underway soon
  16. Good luck Paul - be a shame to have the 'Evergreen' Zed change hands. You never kept it the same for more than 5 minutes and was always something different.

The badge is of no consequence when it looks as bad as that!
  19. Step in the right direction. Although Nokia have just given free sat nav for life on my new phone so that's that sorted!
  20. Sell the kit you have and buy some that will fit? Plenty of options and for not too much money you could get some reasonable kit. As for the missing part, 100 quid is cheap for a good Alpine unit.....
