  1. There is 6 pages of discussion on it mate, and Wales and Docklands meet are closer time wise. Don't lose heart! Birmingham is probably best.
  2. Pick up a copy of What Home Sound & Vision and it will explain all. There are pros and cons for both, generally accepted plasma works better in larger applications. Personally at that size I would go for a Panasonic Viera. (LCD)
  3. Collinite is ultra durable as well. Nice shots Next time round with some Jetseal under it, it will last even longer. Which Collinite do you use?
  4. And people wonder why car companies struggle to make money! No-one said there was any logic mate!
  5. Blending the wings is just their way of matching the finish up, not necessarily the colour. Quotes all seem very good, glad you've got it sorted.

    Audi TT RS

Exactly, that's what puts me off! Not sure about the different wheels front and back either!

    Mesh Grill

    Yep. Don't do it!
  9. but then the TV it self will have an upscaler in it. There is no way to make a non-HD signal into HD. You can scale it up but you only have so much data to start with. How good the upscaled image all depends on the scaler be it in the TV, DVD player, an AMP etc. True. The rest of it is what I said!
  10. The only way to get something like a PS2 or similar input (ie not HD) to appear HD is by putting it through an upscaler of some sort. High end amps and surround sound systems tend to have these in, the Denon being one that is often used as a reference point. HD ready will require you to provide the inputs through the HDMI connection. It is probably worth checking howmany inputs you have.....
  11. Not a bad idea. Make sure you get the PAC adaptor for whatever head unit you go for.

Love it. I had my bonnet up at a Jap meet one evening after having spent some time getting it shining, and some little chav on a bike glanced in and went 'rubbish, it's standard' and rode off. Yours looks even more standard than mine yet packs a much heftier punch!
  13. Welcome. (Get and introduce yourself!) A good stereo installer will know how to remove it. IIRC there is a guide that I have searched for but can't find the one I was thinking of. It involves the removal of some bits of the centre console I think.... Am sure Zedrush or Rob Quads will be along to confirm as they have pulled their Zeds apart at various times.

oh god i'm not cleaning that too! Can't see alot as turbo is under the engine. Just a few down pipes! No I had the car TT'd in May at WRC. Why convertible? Because I would be the only one in the uk to do this and I like the sun Get under the engine and get snapping then!! Just wondered what the TT's looked like under the bonnet. I think it is the only TT isn't it?

Looking good, pics of the engine bay??
  16. Sorry guys. We're entertaining the Toon Army on Saturday so won't be able to make this one. Have a good one, am sure there will be plenty of pics.
  17. Which would leave which behind on the speed bumps? You'd be surprised how well the Lotus might deal with them. Of the three cars, I'd prefer to take that over speed bumps......

    New colours....

Each to their own with colour. Otherwise why would anyone buy a yellow Fiat? As Sarnie and others know, all you need is one person to love a colour and you can get top money for a rarer colour. A more generally accepted one may just mean a quicker sell, not necessarily a better one. I chose GM as I wanted a metallic paint.
  19. I'll just take the title of site Trend Setter!! I humbly apologise for not following the rules and taking you thread off topic Zedrush........
  20. I was cheating and put two in each. DJ Hype is one. MJ another. Take a look at www.breakbeat.co.uk and listen to some samples if you want get a feel for it. FYI, my Mum refers to it as 'listening to a kitchem falling down a hill'!!
  21. You may need to get them to sit in the passenger seat while you show them. Sometimes they don't see the fault when they test it themselves...... Welcome!
